The first "Prog Rock" song I heard. I remember my father blasting this song early in the morning while he was taking me to primary school back in the late 90's. It's also a very radio friendly ELP tune, perfect for newcomers to the band: The announcer introduces the band while Keith with those keyboards lets you know that this won't be like any other rock song you heard before.

And what do we have today, compared to then? Lots of junk! At least we older people from the 70s era can make comparisons. I would say the technologies have improved but the heart and soul of the music has lost a lot.

I saw them back in the day at Joe Louis in Detroit. They sounded exactly the same live and their recordings. I would have to say they were the loudest band I heard. My ears were ringing after the concert. Great musicians great renditions of classical works and just a top notch fantastic band. Thank you ELP. Rest in peace Greg and Keith.

I saw this tour in Toronto. My GOD!!!! they were brilliant!!!!!!!!
Keith every year we are dancing our brains out on "peter gunn theme" on carnaval in sas van gent holland. This tradition started because of my birthday. My brother asked the barkeeper to play this record. Since then it became a tradition in cafe de rijnvaart while the carnaval is going on. So dear Keith rest in peace and THANK YOU for the music
Temazo !!! 👍
❤EXTRAORDINARIO !GRANDIOSO ! Gracias por Compartir este VIDEO ORIGINAL 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Saw them at Wembley in 74 and loved them before and loved them ever since! sadly Carl Palmer only remains!
AWESOME! England has SO much talent.
the world does.
I saw them on the Works tour once with the orchestra then again as JUST ELP trio. They were SO great the music sent shivers up and down my spine. I almost cried each time I heard Keith Emerson and Greg Lake had died. The music will live forever. On the EIGHTH day, GOD created ELP!
Its ok, I cried the day I heard Chris Cornell died. And am very sad about Greg and Kieth for sure
@barb koester Things like this make me wish I'd gotten to Planet Earth sooner and had the chance to see some of these great pros live.
@@aspjake123 I am sad about all three you mentioned.
@@loriabrams3048 It is still hard to accept isn't it?

à Éric Lachapelle;
King, Maneige, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Eberard Weber, Gentle Giant, Plume Latraverse, thé Cure...
Mes Salutations, Éric L.
17 years old in 1977! Had a chance to go see this awesome show but had to work ! Never got over it missing it at the Big O !
That's too bad, I did see it in a little city called Duluth, Mm. The best show I ever saw. I still can remember it.
¡¡SUPER EMOCIONANTE¡¡¡
I saw them back in the day at Joe Louis in Detroit. They sounded exactly the same live and their recordings. I would have to say they were the loudest band I heard. My ears were ringing after the concert. Great musicians great renditions of classical works and just a top notch fantastic band. Thank you ELP. Rest in peace Greg and Keith.
i always wear ear plugs at concert. Great work dudes
Keith Emerson maestro e genio delle tastiere. Lake e Palmer musicisti di alto livello. fantastico.
