33 seconds later they yell "HAKUGIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".😂😮😅
That's why I lose respect for "so called" enthusiasts who think they know more than anyone else, and just focus their review ratings on if the ride has enough "air time"....
Maxwell58SSC Japan does not prefer less intense rides, idk what you're saying. Eejanaika and Do-dodonpa are by far the most popular coasters at Fuji Q and also two of the most intense I've ever ridden (with only Lightning Rod and Steel Phantom comparing to Eejanaika). Flying Dinosaur, Hakugei, and Steel Dragon 2000 are all the most popular rides at their respective parks.
RMC are coaster masters. I’ve never rode an RMC I didn’t love! And this one looks incredible!!! I can almost feel the air time just watching this video
I like to think of them as doctors for wooden roller coasters because they take old, rough rides and make them hybrids by not only making them smoother, but making them higher, faster, longer, and well, just plain badder than they were before!!!!! Yes ma’am, RMC are the doctors, nay, the mad scientists of roller coasters!!!!!!
Emily they're just on another level. I think the main engineer said the reason they're so consistent is because they use square tracks instead of round tubes. But you can tell, whatever they envisioned on the computer is exactly the product that was delivered. I hope rmc sticks around for a long time! Although I recently rode one of their monorail coasters, the Wonder woman, and I have to say, I didn't like it. It was way too fast to process what was going on, and I kept graying out!
Love how RMC is changing the game when it comes to revamping classics or ground up projects! Truly some awesome engineering that leaves you wanting more!
I love all of the RMCs I've been on (Twisted Cyclone, Hakugei, Timbers, Vengeance, Outlaw Run, Storm Chaser) about the same! There isn't any competition when each of them are all amazing, incredible, fun coasters.
Oh my lord!!!! I have never seen a coaster that, without having the over the shoulders restraint, takes the passengers so close to being totally inverted!!! That alone would get my adrenaline level soaring!!
I'm still dreaming of that outwards wave turn after the 1st drop, followed by that amazing stall element. Nagashima Spaland has a huge hit on it's hands, and that it operates in the rain? Absolute Perfection!
Hikugei is a fantastic RMC. I’m glad I was able to ride it while I was in Japan last month, I wish I had more than on day to visit though as the lines were quite long for all of the coasters in the park. One of my favorite pictures from my entire trip was of Hikugei lit up at night and reflecting in the moat around the park.
RMC are wizards of the rollercoaster game. This ride looks like all the others in the sense that it's out of this world insane! They've absolutely revitalized the coaster industry and forced other manufacturers to do better just to compete. A win-win for everyone!
In case you didn’t know the name of the coaster...”HaH-kU-GAAAAAAAAY!” 😂😂 “That was so amazing. I need a cigarette” 😂😂 You clearly enjoyed this. Great looking coaster!
@@mushieslushie Actually, it's pronounced "HAH-kooh-gay", with the emphasis on the first syllable and barely pronouncing the u in the middle. U ("oo") is a very subtle sound in Japanese, especially when following k/g, s/z (but not sh/j), ts, h/f/b/p, and r in the middle of a word. After sh/j, n, m, and y, or alone, it is slightly more pronounced. It also tends to be more heavily included if it's part of the first syllable of a word, and less in the last syllable, but that's a very loose rule, but it is always clearly included if the vowel has been elongated. And there is your Japanese lesson for the day!
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST COASTER I'VE EVER SEEN 3 TIMES OVER!!!!!! I'M ADDING IT TO MY BUCKET LIST ALONG SISE A GRND CANYON 3 DAY RIM TO RIM HIKE AND A 1O DAY RAFTING TRIP THROUGH THE GRAND CANYON.
I couldn't agree with you more. It's amazing what they can do with wood and steel these days. I haven't been to Cedar Point in the last 4 summers, so I have a lot of catching up to do if I can finally make it next summer. If I had a passport, I would definitely go ride this, and all the others in the park that look so incredible. And I wouldn't compare any of them to what Cedar Point has. They are all awesome in their own way. Great footage!
I love this! Before the Chain Lift is uncomfortable, the top hill left turn has no bank and the rest of the ride is no trouble to guest passengers. Smooth... Roll out the Steel Curtain with an RMC top track and blanketed supports. Love to see the supports fluff out the first drop. Wish it shared the first drop design for adjustable comfort in wooden support sway similar to Steel Vengeance.
I knew there were other converted wooden coasters, but the Steel Vengence was the first one I heard of because I love Cedar Point. And I was ecstatic that they decided to convert the Mean Streak instead of demolish it.
@@bandmfanboy Thanks so much for your terminology correction, O wise one. I was once a fool amongst roller coaster enthusiasts, but I've seen the light now thanks to you.
Once again RMC has done it again creating another hybrid masterpiece!! 👍👍👏👏 And on a little side note I feel like every time I hear Robb saying "Hakugei" I feel the need to say "God Bless You*!! 🤧🤧😃😃
this ride looks so much better than than all the rest of the RMC with the entire structure and even the headers painted white. almost looks CGI its so clean
‘That was amazing... I need a Cigarette’ - I said those exact words after hitting the brakes on Twisted Cyclone - Which was my first RMC. These things are bananas!
I would have to say that this looks like the best coaster ever built. the banked turned are unique and the speed provides plenty of negative G's on the hills. very cool. but i would NOT want to ride with someone who literally says "it's fun to scream the name of the ride". what a dork.
That blue track on the white supports is just absolute eye candy!😍😍😍
It sure is, I love it!
Amazing color design.
I like wicked cyclone’s orange on grey better but this is still awesome
@@thislldo2475 I didn't knew it. Just saw it and it's beautiful too... and a nice ride.
Red or green would be equally awesome. I love how rmc used the different colored tracks
Love, when u can hear the smoothness, of the coaster
B&M be like
Ben Jared HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA the ROAR
Right. Smooth as butter
Compared to most it is extremely smooth.
Yes, I really, Do, Love it,
Legend has it that this guy is still yelling “Hakugieeeeeee!” Years later.

Does he need a "god bless you" after those?

Best roller coaster in Japan!? I think this looks like the best coaster in Asia!
i personally think yes, until rmc maybe adds an amazing coaster to china or another one to japan
It's absolutely best roller coaster in Japan!
Not for me. I'd still put Eejanaika over this easily.
Flight Of The Dinosaur ! :P
Cù Chulainn Joe and it’s a wooden one!
There's nothing quite like waking up to an RMC in the morning
Man I can just feel that glorious, glorious RMC airtime and hangtime.

Edster III...Jay Leno on steroids...liked how he showed riding in the front & back car. I’ve ridden Steel Vengeance...this looks awesome as well.
That looks incredibly smooth. I love it when a coaster doesn't beat me up.
Most good looking RMC imo. The blue track and white supports, mixed with the absolutely *massive* structure is just so damn good.

Well great, now we have nothing to flex on them except for like, a lack of tsunamis
