I am not taking the popular side on this. This is the reason for my stand 1. Is chioma a certified product reviewer? If yes, howmany products has she reviewed? Because I heard she deals in children's cloths 2. She claims the tomotoe paste has too much sugar. What is too much sugar? If the paste is Nafdac aprroved, then the quantity of sugar in the paste maynot be above the norm. Erisco may chose to make their product more sugary than other tomotoe paste as their identity 3. She claims the paste is killing people. She may have to provide real prove of the people that the paste is directly responsible for their death. If she cannot defend all these, she will be in real trouble in the law court

Mr. Dotun took that step because he was worried about his money has been tired down. You don’t expect a consumer to start calling a company to complain about a purchased product. We should be realistic.
Ok as we are getting realistic be careful about calling brand names in public and making defamatory comments. The lady said the paste was killing people. That is totally unacceptable especially when you don't have proof. And did you notice the ladies never called any brand name while they were making comments on products they tried once and had issues with it? Why is she saying answering a malicious question about let's go and destroy the man's product...you with evil in mind responded that the deal is done already...like how did we get here ...from too much sugar to destroy brand?
You presenters ain’t objective. The main issue is not the main post but the comments. She said Erisco products ‘keel’ people. The company actually engaged her but she refused to respond. She was defaming the brand. Let be honest here. The other problem is Erisco responded very wrongly. They could actually have publicized this in their favour (which is why it’s good for company to hire good PR). The brand is actually ok. She bought tomatoe mix and not tomato paste. Chioma always very wrong unfortunately, we are sentimental. If her comments actually ‘keel’ the Erisco brand, do we understand how many families will be affected negatively. Nafdac approved the product, even reaffirm the product is safe. Moyo was right that Erisco PR strategy is so wrong and very bad

Common sense in this situation is to find out what really happened. It's called INVESTIGATION. Though the discussion did not tell if the company investigated anything but that is the right thing to do...
No you either craft a response to the words she used online or get your lawyer(s) to send a legal cease and desist to her on the matter. If she doesn't stop, then you sue like he's now saying he is in the process of doing. You don't respond to insult with kidnap, which is essentially what he will be accused of doing now. How does that help his case?
@@fahdlawal1416 While investigating how do you then limit the damages caused to your brand considering the gullibility of Nigerians online? Recently a famous blogger who has a legal case against him said he hadn’t any money so if he is losses, he would still not pay for damages. We quick to jungle justice in Nigeria. Look at the Jennys glow incident, the Amaka girl came out to apologize after causing damages. Let’s not pray to find ourselves in such positions because you might do worse
I want to hope you would not dare have a consumer picked up for expressing their opinion on a product…
@@testingoyay4648send a letter for what? Am I missing something here? Like I asked earlier, isn’t there freedom of expression in Nigeria? Cease and desist for asking a valid question about a product? It shouldn’t have ever reached that point. If someone makes such comments about your product, contact the person, find out what the customer thinks, and then go back to the drawing board and see how to make it better.
Everybody want trend on social media, what works for one might not work for the other. Let's be cautious. A review isn't bad but saying the product is killing people is a no no for me.
Don't those this presenters. They are not saying all the thing that happened
Only one lady is objective of them all.
Nigeria and palava. Customers reviews are actively pursued by customers and we give plain, frank reviews everytime! But it's done by seller sending you a review survey. Anyways, as a lesson, discussing it on social media seems to be the problem here. That is a NO NO anywhere. You cannot do that. You'll land in some impossible legal slams. Know before you act.
Na which universe product review is only controlled via surveys. Go TH-cam and type any product of your choice and add review to it. You go enough product reviews of every product imaginable under the sun. Go any app store and pick an app and you'll see hundreds of reviews alongside. Go to any website on Google, scroll down to the bottom of the website, you'll see enough customer reviews. Are you kidding me with this thing you just typed.
This moderator needs to do better collecting her thoughts before speaking. Other panelists seem more composed and knowledgeable than she is.
Morayo your 110/100 today
Stop defending what you don't understand till you get the real story. The lady in question need to be deciplined because of the kind of language she used.Word like "killing" is not good. Thanks
Tell them o, they're just moving with half truth.
5B is her purnishment?
@@ETUNUOYAKHIROMEno mind them.. won't be surprised if they are staffs of the company
So many products we are consuming on a daily we know is killing us slowly.. so please let it rest.
Obiajulu no. no the lady called the product a killer. Did you understand? With out any result no. After investing in a company so people have to be carfull of what they say. We have to say the truth . You obiajulu you won't take it. Northing personal oooo we are adult take your responsibility ok
I am not taking the popular side on this. This is the reason for my stand
1. Is chioma a certified product reviewer? If yes, howmany products has she reviewed? Because I heard she deals in children's cloths
2. She claims the tomotoe paste has too much sugar. What is too much sugar? If the paste is Nafdac aprroved, then the quantity of sugar in the paste maynot be above the norm. Erisco may chose to make their product more sugary than other tomotoe paste as their identity
3. She claims the paste is killing people. She may have to provide real prove of the people that the paste is directly responsible for their death.
If she cannot defend all these, she will be in real trouble in the law court
One way to bring this man down, take one tin sample to the lab, and match the content against what is written on it. But the sugar content in the tomato paste versus what is on the label. I'm predicting it will fail all tests, if this lady and her lawyers go through this case correctly, this will be a basis to bring out all the bad things happening in the food industry.
On this matter i know Chioma will be justified
That is common sense which is not common today in our society.
The question isn't about the sugar anymore, but about her comments under that post saying the product is keeling
Was she paid? Or was she giving her personal opinion?
That guy is a stark illiterate, can't you hear the way he speaks. Moroayo, the lady is not an influencer, she's just an ordinary person saying her mind.
She said she already going to destroy his product ...how a mother is just typing anyhow waiting for nija to come defend her. Why is she saying answering a malicious question about let's go and destroy the man's product...you with evil in mind responded that the deal is done already...like how did we get here ...from too much sugar to destroy brand?
What is the meaning of IKE whatever she said?
Ike gwuru...she was tired; tiredness
I taya ooo
Auntie fela wan kill me with laff😂😂😂
She didn't give malicious attach, people taste things differently.
People are not saying this story completely. In her comments section, one Blessing Okeke said “Chioma Egodi Jnr ,Stop spoiling my brother's product if don't like it use another one than bring it on social media or call the customer service Erisco FoodsLtd” and she replied saying “Blessing Okeke help me advise your brother to stop ki***ing people with his product, yesterday was my first time of using and its pure sugar. Tueh!” That’s where the problem came from. I personally feel bad for her because of how a casual post changed her life for the worse, but these are the facts.

If you can make huge sums of money by being an influencer on social media then, understand that the power comes with responsibility. You make or mar people's lives with your comments. Please let's be responsible.
You cant review a product without a concrete evidence and she went as far as saying the product is killing people can she provide evidence of people the product has killed, people should be careful when they review.
We should be intensional about things, not bcos we Android/iphone, manageebti have data, we come and be denting people's image all in the name of giving reviews. Follow the right process, if you so love us. Lets learn to ne cautious of what we say. There are better ways to do things. All of you saying freedom of speech, just see were it has landed her. So much pains, truama, wasting money etc. I reqlly feel for her sha
''abuja''😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Everyone wants to social media post, you can’t say no he product kill people and not face the consequences, and Nigeria police part is a shameful, they never needed to be told evolve the matter just need to go to court. The Tomato paste is different from the one you use to cook. The content of the product was displayed for everyone buying it. Our police are illiterates they don’t know what their role is they are just being used as usual
D lady is wrong . She said d product was killing people and she was nt a reviewer. For me nah her carless talk put her for wahala.
The most they could sue her for was defamation but putting her in prison and possibly for 7 years that's freaking overboard
@@najhiahhall7080 she committed a crime and she was sue,if found guilty what do you expect the Court to do
People need to know how to use the social media. It is a public corridor. You can’t just destroy a brand because of your non scientific method or research certificate. She can only sue them if she has research proofs. She should have reported the case to regulatory authorities. The company can’t arrest nafdac if they said so. You can’t say anything anyhow.
Presenters sits down and confidently say rubbish!, embarrassing their family. Even the grandmother o
"Your product is killing people" is never a review!
God bless you
She made me to being 2 eat erisco tomato.
Dey eat am dey go, we are happy for you
Was this particular lady paid to say what she said or was she just giving her personal opinion?
Usa not have my address it's wrong address my to use
😂😂😂that tomato paste tastes like shit😂😂😂
Erisco product are very bad....
Iyabo Ojo is a mess
