【健行紀錄】大肚萬里長城步道--台中五星級步道

台中市最有名的步道是大坑步道，今天要介紹的萬里長城健康步道鮮少被介紹，它也是台中近郊的一條步道。地理位置交通方便，步道比大坑步道好走，景色也更優美。
它位於台中大肚山，有四個入口，交通和停車比較方便的入口，一個在大肚山山腳下的萬里長城步道入口， 另一個在大肚山山頂台中監理站附近的長壽亭。
整條步道走在稜線上，不時可以向西遠眺。 主要步道由石板和木棧板組成，其他的支幹用則是自然步道。
萬里長城步道的主要入口設有廣大的廣場、遊樂設施和廁所。 假日時許多民眾到步道健走，在加上廣場上擺攤的攤販，非常的熱鬧。
萬里長城步道設施完善，走主要步道上下一圈大約需要 2小時。 搭公車前往的朋友，可以從萬里長城步道入口走到長壽亭，再走到遊樂路搭公車。
The Great Wall Health Trail is located in Dadu Mountain, Taichung. There are four entrances. The entrance which are more convenient for traffic and parking one is the entrance to the Great Wall trail at the foot of Dadu Mountain, the other is at the Changshou Pavilion near Taichung Motor and Vehicles Office on the top of Dadu Mountain. The entire trail is built on the ridgeline, and you can look far west from time to time. The main trail is composed of stone slabs and wooden pallets, and the other branches are natural trails. The main entrance of the Great Wall Trail is equipped with a large square, amusement facilities and toilets. During holidays, many people go for a walk on the trails, and the stalls in the square are very lively. The Great Wall Trail is well-equipped, and it takes about 2 hours to go up and down the main trail. Those who take the bus can walk from the entrance of the Great Wall Trail to the Changshou Pavilion, and then walk to Youan Road to take buses.

步道上妳碰到背水上山這位先生，是位高山領隊有帶團爬百岳的許先生。
下次可以走旗開得勝視野更好，天氣好還可以看到鹿港或更遠的六輕工業區。
也可以穿過藍色公路的涵洞到環保公園。
原本萬里長城跟環保公園是一體登山步道，是之後藍色公路開通切成兩半。
