Its usually the bsides that are longer than the title tracks, and if they are lucky enough to get an m/v, they actually get more people to listen to the bsides because im pretty sure some people just tune into a groups title track and not the whole album. I think the reason for this is mainly because all their title tracks are usually hard hitting and catchy and i think that they dont want it to be too long in case it drags down the hypness of the song (but ofc idk if this is the case). And either way skz bsides are hidden gems i stg 🙏🙏 i will never forget when Ex was a 4 minute m/v 😣
The "Walking smoothly we look like a Basilisk" line isn't a Harry Potter reference. Especially with the line "Water splashing everywhere as we move" line following it. They are referencing the Basilisk Lizard. It's called the Jesus lizard because it runs on water & when it does, it splashes water all around its self. They use power & speed to cover small rivers. And if the distance is too far, they stop running on the surface & dive in to swim the rest of the way. The line after was with Aqua Man, and he rules every living thing under the water....But the Lizard is a land animal, not aquatic. So again. It runs on the surface of something that land animals are normally sinking in. So in theory, it rules the waters it covers.

it really is frustrating how streaming culture has made songs shorter and shorter. their bside u was originally a skz song but then they asked tablo to join and its criminal how they ended up cutting a chorus out just to keep the length short despite already cutting member parts for a feature artist (tho adding tablo made it even better) they show seungmin singing a chorus line in the intro but it didn't make it to the final version. i wish we got the full song 🥹 the song is 2 minutes and 43 seconds long like what is the reason 😭
