There were some parts that I didn’t like (such as the episode with the school shooter, or how the writers turned Mr. Schuester into a creep in the later seasons, or really almost ALL of the last three seasons) but I absolutely loved the first three seasons.

Shelbie Rose That. The thing, many shows use that style of writing to make the point that it shouldn’t be said, so it’s framed as satirical humor. Which is fine, because some shows will do this earnestly with NO concept of its racist tones at all. The Glee writers absolutely knew what they were doing in the best way.
