The narrative has to be the same for poor business owners and as for the rich people totally disregard of if their IS even an existing law that governed the country

Like someone commented in previous videos, tourists like sitting in the outside restaurants..even me as a Gambian when i visit i enjoy sitting outside, most of all just to enjoy the scenery of the country, its people and just to get fresh air because most places dont have air conditioning, so sitting outside can be very refreshing...i dont how others feel about these getting destroyed....unless it is very close to the road, then i can understand

The law should have been enforced many years ago when created. The problem is now people are used to doing things a certain way and change is very hard especially when it’s your livelihood.

If people are lucky to make 40 dollars a month US the citizens will have a lot challenges trying to recover from the destruction of their businesses. What the government coming is trying to do may sound good in theory however, the operation is poorly executed. Many citizens seemed to have no knowledge of the operation before buildings were destroyed.
Citizens are pretending they are not aware of it, I knew about this since February and my friend who is affected knew about it before. But when people philosophy is this is Gambia 🇬🇲 it will never happen, so now they are paying for the consequences of their own actions
Equally before doing anything especially business their is lot of things that you must take in to consideration by the some this building in future will demolise for future development
We want development it will be our good to make our country grow but not in this way there are things that have nothing to do with the road and you can how they approach zero people they come at you with nervousness ignorance is dangerous these people are ignorant there are ways to talk to people I'm a citizen but I don't like how they react
