I would like to get one just like this one. 4 wheel drive with a "manual transmission" . Let me know. I'm glad that this van are allowed to be imported here in the states.
I want one imported into the UK, which I believe is allowed. I want a 4 wheel drive "manual transmission" Turbo 3.0L Diesel and a Mitsubishi Star Wagon 4X4 Manual Diesel.
I can tell you that 1KZs will go up hills just fine with a load on. The transmissions however, not so much. I know in the Hilux Surf that the transmissions regularly overheat climbing hills if they haven't been serviced recently, so they benefit greatly from a trans cooler before the radiator
How big is the fuel tank on these? About 70 litres or something? Got a Super Custom myself, planning on an expedition across Europe when I've finished 'restoring' it!
I filled my work van the other day, an LH113 base model 2.8L Hiace, and that took 55-56 litres, so say 60 litres tops. I'm looking at swapping my Lexus LS430 for a 2WD super custom
Good to see a manual thanks.
aint they all manual? I had a blue one, was still going strong at over 500 000km

I'd like to see how it drives steep uphill, is it enough power to move the van under normal load, say 4 people and luggage?

Sweet looking HiAce. Does this have a Diesel, or a gasoline engine powering it?
Did you watch the video?
Jason, KZ-TE is a Diesel engine
Turbo Diesel 1KZ-TE engine.
@@rare2017 Okay.
Only problem with the 1KZ engine it will crack the cyclinder head eventurly. The alloy head cracks between the valves.Otherwise its a great engine.
