I thought the books were good again? Because damage items suck ass now, true damage seems pretty good to me. What items are good then on mages?

Pen is good because it's been reverted. For Vulcan, Agni, Persephone, Discordia, Yu Huang, etc you could go Chronos, deso, divine if needed, staff of myriddan, ob shard, rod. You can also sub myriddan for gods that don't proc it well for doom orb or a flex item like spirit robe if you die too fast. You also don't always need a divine. It's situational, but focusing pen is a smart way to go in general rn.

they are definitely not op in joust as long the enemy have hunter in this case they didnt have hunter so obviously you can 1v3 them becuz burst matters little against tanks its the dps what kills them so this video title is just a huge jebait i am playing gm joust all the time and against 2 tank comps most times your hunter need to get 4-5 items and then its pretty gg for the tanks go play against gms who have hunter on their team i wanna see you then 1v3 them plot twist you wont
