I have said this before phil is a hero when you need him he's always there The man is a iconic legend he seems to be helping everyone out in the show because he is eastenders with out him the show will fall apart so long live the hardman phil Mitchell 💪they will never let him leave the show he's to good !!!!!

I think he's just made missing his own kids and family. Ben doesn't know whether he wants to hate Phil or love him, Jay's been distant for a long time, Louise is gone, Jamie is dead, and Dennis is dead too. The sound of a lively family probably just makes him sentimental now that his is gone.
