  • Illustrator Speed Art Drawing creating isometric city buildings inspired by numbers (2018), city life and isometric houses. Creating isometric cities is fun and when I started drawing I didn't know where this iso art would bring me. Each isometric city building just became it's own thins and the I just fused them together to create this isometric design/art. I hope you'll enjoy watching my speed art drawing on isometric city buildings. Thanks for watching!

You can also change the corner radius in the top menu by typing in a certain value :-) The direct selection tool should be active for that, though.

    I have an important question: at 3:05 the windows are not correctly aligned with the walls shape. I tried to make a window on a pipe aligned with the shape and, oh boy, it was really hard. Do you know an easy way to make that? Thank you!

    • @Vectortwist
      @Vectortwist  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, I think I know what you mean. When you look at the pipe, the top is curved and the bottom is curved. You need to apply that to your window. I think the easiest is to take the rectangle of your window and ad an extra anchor point with the Pen Tool and the adjust the handles to curve it similar to the pipe. Same you do to the bottom, i your pipe is vertical. If your pipe is horizontal, you would add the extra points to the sides and curve the sides. Does that make any sense?

    • @aluisiofsjr
      @aluisiofsjr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You understand my question very well. Yes, I made the edges of the window using a lot of circular line guides (the window is also retangular rounded - so it is harder) and the only way was to make it manually. Sad there is no SSR Actions for rounded surfaces (only to flat surfaces) and I don't see any tutorial available on the internet. Thank you for the answer!
