Hi dear. 68yo Army (BTS fan) here. Military service is mandatory in South Korea and currently all 7 members of BTS are serving in the South Korean military. Jin will be discharged in May of this year, J-hope will be out in October and the rest will be discharged in June of next year. Jungkook and Jimin just finished their basic training.
No ticket it was a free suprise it was only officially announced 30minutes before he started. However there was some rumours and clues he was going to do something and many ARMY thought it would be at Time Square so made their way there and were waiting around for a few hours before it was officially announced.

Jungkook is at the top! He is the main vocalist in BTS, but standing side to side with their 3 other highly capable vocalists (Jin, V and Jimin). Besides these, 3 very talented rappers in RM, Suga and J-hope. RM being the groups leader, Suga their main produser and J-hope their dance leader. They all write and produce their own stuff, solo, but for the group aswell. Not to mention all being highly skilled dancers, rappers and vocalists. They debuted in 2013, a seven member group staying together for now 10 years. They Are like each others family, and love eachother and their fans dearly. Jungkook is their youngest member, and as all the other members, have recently released solo stuff. You have so much to discover ;) Their music catalog is huge, and mix and cross all genres. Just try the song «On, kinetic manifesto», really highlighting the groups qualities. Or: «Outro: tear» live, showing the amazing rap trio in the group. I could go on and on. Remember captions for their songs with mix of korean and english language. Their music always have deeper and meaningful lyrics. It’s army because there’s a lot of military references with BTS, especially in their early days. Their Korean name translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts, their original logo was a bulletproof vest, they have several songs with bulletproof in the title and/or lyrics…..

The thing about Jungkook's vocals is that after nearly 6 years of hearing his voice he still can impress me while singing for fun laying on his couch (drunk and sleepy too )😂 you will know what i mean if you watch things like Jungkook's amazing vocals updated by Ida S channel
The other dancers are famous Choreographers and Dancers. Jungkook and the rest of the BTS member do this all day long sing while doing hard choreo they are extremely fit I mean top notch fit it's why each member has pasted their basic military training at the top of their class. They are all doing serving their 18months of military service now.
The sound Desk was having an issue but the sound person sorted it so his mic and the music cut out slightly it's just one of those things we artist's have to work with when there's a problem at the Sound Desk.

Agree… I love it too because they really brought back great artistry entertaining without all the vulgarity. They amassed the numbers without being vulgar or controversial. They’re older now and they will bring a little sexy tease here and there but it’s so subtle it’s nowhere crazy like western artists. Jungkook kinda “pushed the limits” the most having this all English album that caters to western listeners so Latto and Jack Harlow features for example pushed him out of that G or PG rating. Also agree that I don’t like Jack Harlow part either. They have a version without it, Jack Harlow verses wouldn’t work for S Korea audience. Also check out the remix with Justin Timberlake, I like that one better.
Do look into V from BTS and his album Layover. Do also watch his mv of his solo within BTS Singularity and live performance of Stigma. His music is smooth and jazz/R&B vibe. A critically acclaimed album.

@2RJay oh, geesh, so many! Idk what you've already watched or what kind if music you prefer. I started at the beginning, with No More Dream and Bulletproof pt2. The music videos are cool and there are tons of live performances, which I usually prefer. I like most of their older stuff, especially the ones with Jungkook rapping. I also really like Dope and NO, plus Mic Drop with Steve Ayoki, if you haven't seen those. I could go on for hours lol. If you like the dancing, there are some concept trailers that are soooo good. BTS has a ton of great B sides, it really is a rabbit hole. Some of my favorites are ones I don't see mentioned that much.

This free impromptu performance was towards the end of last year before Jungkook had to enlist in the South Korean army to do his mandatory military service. All the BTS boys are currently serving. We are all holding our breath waiting for them to return. Because all the BTS boys are so fit they have all gone through their basic training easily, often scoring top in their groups. I didn't rate JH either.
