Yes, you can buy any firearm at any time. However, you may only take possession once you are in possession of a valid license

I have applied firearm competency last year july and I haven't received any messages on how the process is going and I did went there several times and the last time I went there it was saying to be considered on their system so my question to you sir is what does that mean ? I don't have criminal record that I can say it's blocking the process.
