today I played on the project lazarus life server for 2 hours... i am so busy with the holidays atm so sorry for the terrible content

It was very agitating watching him just ignore the tools

Yes, it was annoying. He opened the menu and (I assume) saw he could buy tools at the beginning. Then complained about not being able to get tools. Also LOTS of jobs make you buy your own tools. Has Brit never had a real job? LOL. Jk.

I had my fun playing life when it came out, good to see you finally give it some popularity, good thing they upgraded the diamond drop in heist so we don't have to farm 10hours a day the mining to get lvl 30 and get a chance of diamond drop with the job. The game mode is very interesting, can be improved but the work they did is amazing and deserve a shout out. Hope to see more vid on it. For anyone that want to try it but aren't sure, give it a try. Can be a slow start, mine was kinda, but people are nice around on the server and will gladly answer your question, or just ask on the lazarus discord. Hope everyone have is fun on it !

If you want to populate a server, hold a cash prize contest for the first month. Advertise it on Facepunch servers, so that you do not get banned by a community admin for advertising a different server. Figure like 100-200 dollar prize for clan that ends the month in possession of an item like a bottle of bleach or something. If you can get it popular during the event, and your server has desirable settings, then after the first month some players may remain for the next wipe. Takes a lot of dedication for spamming facepunch servers with ads for your server. Greedy players won't be able to resist. Just be careful cuz cheaters will take interest as well.

A full while when you actually learn how it works could be a good advertising feature brit. You running around clueless could actually defeat the purpose. Good vid tho! I'm interested how it actually works TBH

The getting tools was painful to watch, you missed them multiple times then once you buy an axe you get a metal instead of salvage. 🤣

If its a bi weekly or monthly wipe I'll play it og LAZ is getting pretty sweaty lately these hybrid pvp/e type servers might be a nice change of pace

Those kinda servers is roleplay based, your not suppose to go from broke to millionaire in a short time, your working yourself from the ground level to the top by GRINDING. idk if you ever noticed but you got a paycheck at random times during your adventures meaning you have a passive income.

Trash, getting killed and harassed as a naked 30 minutes in when all you're trying to do is learn the "experience" of the server. No different than official servers. Boasts a "unique" experience, not when you're mining for 480 iron at reduced gathering rates all the while a geared player fly's in and declares hostility on you. You retreat to safe zone, but because the geared player hostiles you, you are labeled as hostile to safe zone. Doesn't deserve a population, I was verbally harassed told to "get better" and "stop complaining".

After watching this and seeing how it is to even get things done or even progress tell me why this modded server is dead. No one really wants to do all that crap. They made the game very grindy.
I like to try out this server but only one i see are US ones not EU. Any tip on how to find/join it ? I really like Your content Brit. Kinda make me to buy and try Rust.
Joined this server, spent an hour as a miner, people camping the site with guns, can't progress as you get killed everytime you go there, tried hitting trees and the same there, can't see the point of this server as you need a job and complete the task to progress but you just get KOS.
When are you gonna Collab with oblivion and make a cheeky trap base?

Literally went into multiple shops selling tools and you couldn't figure out how to get one. Sometimes it's painful watching.

I can see why it barely has anyone on the server if it's so damn hard to grind for stuff. The jobs don't even give you the tools to do them properly. It's just not worth it

U can make tools u just don't pay attention very well go through every menu and actually look those jobs are good deals and not hard at all when you make tools which anyone can do when they join u buy tools at the store as well
Last time I was on that server some of the moderators was abusive towards multiple people hopefully the owner of the server kicked those twats

I had the same problems when I played, the best job to start with is delivery driver as that’s the fastest quick cash, I built up from the bottom bought myself an apartment and then put like a day on my rent, but I was so tired by that point I decided to just not come back on the server as it’s hard work keeping up with the rent etc, I did enjoy and will be back in the future but for now I can’t be assed
