I have melted all of my S&S really quickly, but there has been some chatter in the wax groups recently about it going downhill after the one year mark. So I don't think your experience is isolated. That's a really tricky aspect of vendor wax! Figuring out which vendors are okay to sit vs which ones need to be used right away.
For sure! I talk about it a little more in my next empties video as well that's going up in a few days, but it's nice to know i'm not the only one. I should have not gone AS crazy when buying her wax maybe before I stored it a while and saw how it changed over time.
Great empties! I'm working on partials and full older scents. We get cold here so late in Fla that I feel like I just started holiday melting a few weeks ago.
I've been melting some Second & Spruce from early 2023 with great performance. I assumed that would be the case for 2024 purchases but now I'm concerned since you mentioned maybe a formula change. I'll have to make a point to test some newer stuff soon!
I don't know for sure about a formula change, but I thought I saw her post on her page or in a comment somewhere about trying to make the wax less smudgy in the bags. Truly don't know any details though or if anything changed at all about her wax.
I didn’t know about sleigh ride until watching another video so I put in my January monthly club. I warmed TB Xmas tree & cream /crushed candy cane it’s in my next video and same it is so good. Loaf worthy for sure
Hi Rip! He’s such a cutie ❤ great empties! I love Christmas at Santa’s but sad to say that I completely forgot to melt that scent for the holidays 😢 so I am going to warm throughout the winter so I can enjoy it for a while. Idk how I forgot about that scent lol
Hi Alexis, I think that second and spruce is a wax that you should use sooner than later. I agree that the older wax ( year or more) is not as strong. I just recently discovered that myself trying to melt some older wax.
