In NSW Australia amateurs are only allowed to catch crays with their hands or with a trap. No torches, hooks. snares, spears, hookers or aqualungs allowed. The limit is three per person per day. The other states have different rules.

I always just grab the antenna as close to the body as possible and then grab the body with the other hand.
