I have watched the thorn bird when I was 19 year old - the first time this movie was in cinema in South of Vietnam. We all love this movie, especially Rachel - Little Meggie - with her love for the local Priest that has broken thousand and thousand heart of us - Vietnamese 1st year university students that time. I am living in Australia now and have watched this movie more than 20 times, still love it. Thank and love you so much Rachel.
My co-workers knew I like that movie so much, they gave me the DVD for my birthday...I was so thrilled... Love that pink dress so much I bought a dress similar to it...my favorite part: when she is coming down the steps and Father Ralph is mesmerized looking at her....

Actually she hasn't aged well at all. Everybody ages differently I guess. I'm not sure if I would've recognized her. He's recognizable, but he's aged a lot too. Still it's better to age naturally than all the fake plastic surgery.
I think she was and still is stunningly beautiful, however her hairstyle makes her look old here. She should have it longer to frame and soften her beautiful face. Looks aside, huge fan of hers, love her work both acting and writing/directing

I wish Rachel wouldn't look down on The Thorn Birds as much as she seems to. It was, and still is, one of the best TV series and she and especially Richard, (who is just an amazing actor anyway), were amazing in it but she somehow always seems to belittle it ! And ok, Rachel doesn't look a million dollars, but she's got no make-up and at least she's totally natural. Didn't realise how down-to-earth Brian was, great bloke.
Those claims have been denied many times. Richard has repeatedly said how much he loves Rachel and Rachel has said that about Richard, too. You can see their chemistry on Thorn birds so vividly.
Yeah she does keep downplaying it, when really it was the best role of her life. But his sweet that she and Bryan got together during Thrinaab birds. And stayed together.

I doubt it. Many of his female co-stars have said, “you’d never know he was gay, he was a fantastic kisser!” And those are separate issues. I’ve read many stories where a man and woman who are in a romantic relationship off-camera are in a romantic relationship on-camera, but have said, “the kissing is very different.”
It doesn't look like she has on make up here, but she still looks good. If her hair was longer like it was in The Thorne birds & she had make up on & was dressed up, I bet she'd still look just as good as she did then. She's a natural beauty.

Very proper! :) PS Only a little because they are a bit too deliberate and mechanical lol... Dry humor and this type of maturity oftentimes help keep relationships for a lifetime. Too much uncontrolled passion can actually drive you apart. Arguments are healthy and necessary in any relationship but there is an art to it. It definitely brings out the best in both of you.
