Hearing Audrey, sing me to sleep. Her beautiful sound, the warmth from the vent near my bed. My red and green plaid blanket, so heavy. The cat named Casey softly snoring next to me. Perfection.

When i was a child I used to get this strong feeling of longing whenever i watched old disney movies or whenever i sat in the living room with my father when he managed to catch one of the old movies, the black and white ones, on the movie channels. It felt so nostalgic, i yearned so hard for it, which is funny because it'd be a time where someone like me, black and African, wouldn't have been exactly welcome 😅😅
