Hearing Audrey, sing me to sleep. Her beautiful sound, the warmth from the vent near my bed. My red and green plaid blanket, so heavy. The cat named Casey softly snoring next to me. Perfection.

These songs remind me of my great grandpops who passed away a month ago. I’m currently 15 and when I was younger my pops used to play songs on his record player. We also used to watch old movies with those kind of songs in the background. I miss him so much and wish he was here. The songs actually made me ball my eyes out. Thank you ☺️

Let me dream plz. I woke up really early and i just realized that snow has already started. Firstly i watched the view with a big smile on my face, i got happier. Then i went right into my cutiest kitchen and started to cooking for me, my husband and baby. While i was making best pancakes i listened to radio. Radio was about that playlist so i felt better. When i was a child I used to get this strong feeling of longing whenever i watched old disney movies or whenever i sat in the living room with my father when he managed to catch one of the old movies, the black and white ones, on the movie channels. It felt so nostalgic, i yearned so hard for it, which is funny because it'd be a time where someone like me, black and African, wouldn't have been exactly welcome 😅😅
