So this video encouraged me to get one. The features and gestures can’t be done on any other mouse. I do wish it was ergonomic as I prefer a vertical mouse for work.
Hi. I'm using my iPad to watch Netflix, Disney+, etc., by connecting it to my projector via HDMI. So, as the iPad sits close to the projector, I can't reach it from where I'm sitting. It gets pretty annoying to stand up and walk to the device every time I want to "rewind" for a few seconds or go watch something else... That's why I think a mouse attached to the iPad would solve my issue, acting like a remote control unit. Of course, when the HDMI output is used, the iPad's screen turns off and locks after a couple of seconds (as it should, actually). So, question is: does the Magic Mouse work directly in the app that is being shown on the projector screen, or would I need to unlock the iPad first (using the on-screen code or touch ID - I have the Air 4), which would negate the purpose of using a mouse in this scenario, since I would have go to the device itself anyway? Thanks!
I ve learned you never have to turn it off/ MM2 and Magic Keyboard fall into sleep mode when unused. I only turn Bluetooth and wifi on my iPad when I m done for a while. Battery use is the same as if you d turn it off. Hope this help
You really sold me to buy this one. Right now, one of the stores here are doing 50% discount to selected apple accessories and this is one of them. I might get one!
One thing I would really love to know and there's absolutely no info about and that is... How do you check the battery level when connected to iPad ?????
From the Home Screen slide from left to right and on the widget page you will see the battery status of your iPad and other connected devices. You can also pull the battery status widget and put on your Home Screen permanently.
Despite it's design, Apple magic mouse 2 is very good and have many features (swipe, zoom and gestures are very smooth and native on macOS) that are not available by other Mac advertised mouses
Not sure what you're talking about when you say after turning the Magic Mouse off that you have to re-connect it. Mine works fine without the need to re-connect it after I switch it off.
Man! When you mentioned the Lumafusion, that was the time I said, okay that’s it. I’m gonna buy it. Hahahah. I was worried that it won’t work with the editing software. I hope you can also do a video about the compatibility of using the magic mouse in editing with lumafusion. Thanks man!
@@JoCaballes Let’s gooo! I just got my keyboard in the mail today! I have been had the mouse and am using both to be on TH-cam today. I plan to upgrade tho and get 2 new iPad pros, keyboards, mouse and trackpads to use, cuz i plan to get into TH-cam as well. And i will also be using luma fusion for editing and such.

You no longer have to manually reconnect it with iOS 15
Really?

It's a great mouse, I have been using it for years now and I got no regrets.

Thanks, it can accompany my iPad mini 6 with the MOFT keyboard which is not fully functioning track pad.

nice review man. Is track pad better then magic mouse 2 for ipad?
Track pad has more features but magic mouse 2 is more users friendly and Portable. To me is Magic mouse 2.
@@BigPhiLTV ok great, thank you sir. 🐁 it is.
but now my mouse connects automatically when i turn it on

Good morning , connect with Apple TV box ;??
I haven’t try it with Apple TV box.
Can it detect easily between a Mac and iPad? Like is it easy to swap between a Mac and iPad?
Unfortunately you can't switch between two devices. It easier to reconnect to a Mac but not the iPad.
Great video mate👍
Appreciate you
Do I need the Magic Mouse for Mac book
It is a great accessory but you don't really need it because MacBook has big track pad.
is magic mouse 1 can do that too..? (swipe gesture on iPadOS)
Yes, the gestures are the same.
Does it can do app switcher with magic mouse 2?
Nope, can't switch😔
Thanks bro
You’re right, the Magic Mouse is really magical. I have it and I love it😍
