    Thank you for your FANTASTIC!!! video/review.
    My wife and I are heading there in June for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. (we are also from Southern Ontario Canada).
    We have stayed at The Majestic Elegance Punta Cana three times and going back for the forth in November.
    After watching this video I am happy we decided to try this resort. We have been to over 25+ different resorts but once we found the Majestic we didnt want to go anywhere else.
    You have just made me even more excited about out choice.
    Thanks

      We went a little while ago, so things may have changed, but we found the beach drink service slow. There was only one waitress for everyone. Took about 30 min to get our drinks. LOoking forward to next week. I've heard from another critic that resto food not as good as buffet :(. Is there palapas on the beach chairs? Also is there many chairs or do we have to reserve early morning? Is there a beach area reserved for the Adults only? Sorry for all the questions..

      Hi Despina, I'm excited for you! Some have palapas, their are plenty of chairs, no need to reserve, there are no sections on the beach specifically for adults... one thing to mention is that it took us a long time to get our drinks at the beach, so I would order a few at a time. Also, you cannot order food from the beach server. Have fun!

    • @zndtravel2650
      @zndtravel2650  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you prefer not to have kids around, then I'd go with the Club. The Club pool areas and bars are strictly for adults, so it really depends on how you feel about kids being around at the main/family pool.

      @@zndtravel2650 thanks for the reply! so you can't go to the adult side unless you paid for the club?? I would most likely be on the adult side, I booked a swim up on the family Side cause they are sold out on adult

    • @zndtravel2650
      @zndtravel2650  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MARIAMC that's correct. If you have a room on the family side, you are not allowed to hang out on the adult side.
      The swim ups are a cool option, but the swim ups on the family side don't get much sun.
      Once you arrive, you might be able to upgrade to the adult side, hopefully an adult swim up becomes available for you 🤞🏽

      Hi Tony, this trip we just stayed at the resort the whole time. On previous trips to Mexico, we have gone around to places. There is an in-house tour company called Go-Majestic in the lobby of the resort that can arrange any of the tours, even transfers to the airport.
      Keep in mind you are already going to be a good drive north of Cancun, making any tour an even longer ride away. Thanks and pls consider subscribing 🙏🏽 enjoy your trip!

    Planning to hit this resort in December of 2022. Strange questions? Do the sit down restaurants allow you to take your leftovers? Do the rooms have microwaves or fridges for the leftovers? Any room service or to-go orders available from the sit down restaurants?

    • @zndtravel2650
      @zndtravel2650  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! The rooms have fridges, but no microwave. I'm pretty sure you cannot take food from the restaurants back to your room. There is one fast food station that you can order and take back to your room. Plus there is the room service menu. No to-go options offered from the sit down restaurants.
      Maybe you can bring some small Tupperware, but no microwave in the room to heat up.

      Hi Mike, the crib was provided by the resort, so no need to bring one. Room service is free, 24 hours for adults club member section, for the family section it's free until midnightishh I believe. Masks are required in indoor common areas, but many guests, including myself at times didn't use the mask all the time, as long as there is enough distance and you be respectful about it to others, I think it's okay. All Staff were great about wearing masks at all times. Enjoy your stay and let me know how it goes!

      Hi Ryan, I believe the only way to access the adult side and to have a butler is to upgrade your room to the Club status, which is in the Club Section (adult area, no kids). I don't think it's possible to simply upgrade your status to Club/adult and visit the adult area while only having a room on the family side.
