Luis great tutorial, it was very helpful for me. I'm doing something like that, working with 14 cities to find differents suitable waste disposal sites. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!
Hola Luis, I have a math allergy, thank you for helping me to mentally approach the Boolean lurking beneath ArcGIS from its equation origins. I am not there yet but I feel this can be a starting point.
thank you a lot, I want to ask you something, the total area in km2 from the restriction model result is different from the suitable model area. do you have anything to say about it?
thanks for such a nice and useful video. i would like to use fuzzy logic modeling for flood forecasting via ArcGIS. would you please help me in this case?
Dear Mr. Luis, I am working on finding suitable site selection for road side public latrine. i kindly request you what kind of data sets to be used in the analysis and the parameters to be used in the procedure. Thank You!
Thank you for the video :) I would like to ask, when I finish the model and going to show to Display, it seems that are nothing there. I do not what happen.
The Model Builder is beautifully explained. I followed your instructions step by step. However, after changing the name of "Water Bodies Buffer with Extent" when I clicked "Run" I receive the error message, "ERROR 000354: The name contains invalid characters". How to resolve the issue?
Check: the name is not being used somewhere else in the model, that the input or output path do not contain spaces, tildes or special characters. Hope this helps
Hello, I applied this model on an area in Romania and I had impressive results. I want to present this and also use this in a bibliography. Could you tell me if the formula is created by you, and the model as well, or who should I quote ? Thank you very much!
Ionuț Alixandroae This tutorial is based on my master´s thesis. I am unclear on what formula you are refering to. If you could clear that for me maybe I can help you out.
I am a student and I would like to use this analysis for our research project but our specific analysis is about "site suitable for planting mangroves" . We only have least lecture about remote sensing and GIS. Can you please help me how to process data from the satellite to determine an area which is suitable and not suitable. Comments are highly appreciated.
Thanks. I don't see why not, if you know the formula for solar power suitability it should work. As far as I know it simply called a suitability analysis.
Please help me i am trying to follow this tutorial but at the part of using raster calculator i am getting an error message the raster calculator is failing to execute the operation. Please help i want to use this method

i am training and no input data. That's why the color doesn't appear, isn't it? so what should I do?

Luis C. Berrocal thank you 🌹
Pls which data are you using in the first tutorial? The data looks like "stream order" to me. Is it?
Hi. I no longer have the data. Sorry. I using streets, rivers and land use mainly.
Please help me i am trying to follow this tutorial but at the part of using raster calculator i am getting an error message the raster calculator is failing to execute the operation.
Please help i want to use this method
which references can I use to refer to your formula in my work?
You can use my Masters thesis 'GIS Model for Locating Non Desirable Instalations' 2006. Universidad Tecnologica de Panama

where do I get these data to practice?
I am sorry I don't have i available anymore
why didn't you just use the same procedure of is null to your park buffer?
