Really incredible to hear these success stories. How did so many successfully get through withdrawl and staying clean? I would love to hear more on how they are aided through that process and getting past the desire for drugs.
I’m guessing through Jesus Christ. Contrary to the belief of many, He is real! This work is much bigger than the founders. Someone finally told these people they are worth something, and told they can change and truly believed in them. I can’t do the answer to this question justice.
Wouldn't it be amazing if more people in our prison system could have a life-changing experience like this! Considering the number of people languishing and stagnating in the system, The Other Side is saving lives/souls one at a time. It may be a drop in the bucket, but it clearly means everything to those who can be part of it. Wouldn't it be amazing if the monetary calculus of the prison system could be shifted to an equation that actually helps people reform and live up to their potential? I wonder what the general citizenship could do to make that happen. Imagine if all those resources could be shifted to something that is proven effective! I found this by accident, and perhaps it wasn't meant for a large audience... I wish more people could see it.

Wow. Reminds me of Brandon Sanderson's Elantris. Give people respect, a purpose, and a job they can do. It changes scarcity to abundance.
