Everytime i start a new dino in this game i always remind myself it's a dino game and i'm gonna be hunted and killed no matter what so, when it happens, i don't let it ruin my day lol. Plus i hunt other players too so it wouldn't be fair of me to get pissed off at others for doing something to me when i'm also doing it to them 😉 The last little thing that helps me is whenever something happens, regardless of whether i live or die, it's content for my channel and i'm always happy to get content for my channel 😁
Man let me tell ya your videos are superb. I sit at work watching them over and over for the thrill of the hunt and the humor you bring with it. If we meet on the dino battlefield win or lose be an honor. Keep up the great work.

I’m not sure if you know or not but if something it sitting it takes 2 times damage and 4 if it’s laying down. Really useful for ambush with sarco cause it’s so slow you wanna do as much damage as possible quickly
Sarco is kinda OP tbh on the Gondwana map he main water source inside of the crater is always filled with like 10 sarcos and anyone that want a drink literally has to bring them food as a peace offering so they don't get eaten alive.
Sarco isn't OP, it has to be played smart just like all the other dino's. It has a severe weakness against maneuverable dino's who can maneuver quickly enough to stay behind them. I've made several Sarco's abandon the chase by biting them in the butt enough to scare them and i've escaped a charging Sarco multiple times too due to their extremely limited Stam. If you know their weakness it becomes easy to exploit it and turn this monster into an irrelevant minor nuisance. 🙂
@@SomeRandomVergilFanboy depends on the size difference. If you charge a dino that is half your size or less then yes maybe, but if it's the same size, that dino has a very high chance of escaping.

Thanks 😄 I'll be honest, you can't really do what i do if you can't accept losing fights or dying in a game like this. You just have to learn to completely disconnect from the fear of losing or the fear of dying and when you die, just laugh it off and move on. Plus my best reward when playing is the content that i record so anything that i can use in a video makes me happy, it's all a win for me 😉😉
This was a great video, that was so funny when you'd surprise dinos on land by bursting out of the water LOL I've never seen anyone do that🤣 also the editing is great, i really enjoyed the suspenseful and cheerful music, as well as the words on screen to explain context for certain clips. also, i wanted to add, don't be so hard on yourself😁 you dont ever sound silly or anything like that at all. excellent gameplay and strategy, i havent been able to kill so many land dinos just yet so this was impressive:)

I dont know if you know but when you get bone broken by rex or others..use precision move and move backward to water cause its faster than walking forward to water while bone broken..and avoid fighting rexes at land if they broke you its over then..stay and fight in or near water Adult sarcos stam sux it drains fast and regenerates slow especially on land Great Video btw its my first time here..i liked and subscribed and definitely i'll watch the other vids 🐊❤
Thanks so much for the nice feedback. For the precision move backward while bone broken, i sort of discovered that by accident in the following video, right after this one. The one where i fight two rexes. I felt the speed boost while fighting the second one, just before i turn around to head to the water. I'm very happy you enoyed it and want to see more hehe. I remember growing my Sarco, he had such a difficult life. he was always jumped when he exited the home cave when he couldn't defend himself, yet despite the the hardship he survived on 1 life and has yet to die.
funny, you died the most with your sarco, me i kept geting adopted by big sarcos who protected me. now for iguadon yes, i died about 50 time trying to grow that thing XD
I download music from a site called : Tunetank.com They have some songs that can be used completely for free but most of their selection requires a membership. Once you buy a membership you can use all their music as much as you want and they white list your channel to protect you from copyright claims. They have songs for pretty much any kind of ambiance and situations. I have to admit, i'm very surprised to see you watching my gaming videos 😉 I mean, i'm very happy to see you here because, in a way, you help me make these videos but i'm surprised that you would have an interest in my gaming videos😊
When you play Iggy as much as I do and I am pretty much always in or around water with Iggy I learned to fight Sarcos 😂 I was Sarco chow alot in my growing phase just cause I used water to escape anything big on land trying to eat me lol
I think you're gonna be delighted by my next video then ;-) I'm an Iggy and i spend a lot of time close to water and i have been Sarco chow a lot too haha !!! However, i have also killed some Sarcos because for some reason, 3 times i was attacked by Sarcos which were way too young to be a threat to me. I don't understand why they did it because it was practically suicide.
if i can give u one tipp, if u see someone comming in the water or swimming away from u, like the lizzard, load youre bite more often, it really helps, bc one, one, there are scared and swimm away, or two, u hit them and do alot more damage. for me it works.
I agree and i really hope they add it too ! There is no good reason for not adding it considering everything else has a tail attack and crocs and gators in real life use their tails to fend off humans who try to catch them from behind.
Well, if you want my honest opinion, i wouldn't play Sarco as my very first dino in this game. I absolutely loved him and i will continue to play him and i'm loving the stealth aspect of it but there is more to consider. He is very slow on land and the older he gets, the less stamina he has and the less stam regen he gets so, this all makes traveling from one location to another a real pain. He is stealthy in the water when you're ready to ambush something but the rest of the time, he's pretty vulnerable on land. I 100% recommend that you try him out eventually and i'm sure you'll enjoy him alot when you do but if you have never played this game before, i would start with something else, just to help you learn the map and learn game mechanics first. I would recommend the Megalania for a new player, over the Sarco. The Meg is low to the ground and pretty silent so it's a good dino for stealth gameplay and it's just as good on land as it is in the water, plus it's pretty hard to hit by bigger dinos. I've seen Megs take down an adult Bars and i've heard people say they were killed by Megalania's while playing an adult Rex. Plus the Meg doesn't have the same limitations with stam as the sarco does on land. Basically, the Sarco is a specialist and the Meg is good at everything just maybe not quite as good as the Sarco in the water. For a new player, the Meg would be more enjoyable as a first experience.
No Sarco is a bit harder to play get some game exp and go with a Ceratosaurus or something similar first. Has alot of speed to get you out of trouble and is also a pretty good hunter that can toy with most things a good way to learn the game.
I feel like there's an easier way to do quests with my sarco. He's still a juvi but the questing is really making me go far inland to collect stuff, leaving me too exposed. Is there specific quests you prefer to do, or specific spots to do quests at a juvi level?
The sarco is not an easy one to play and i would not recommend it to beginners but after having grown one myself and having played in both Panjura and Gondwa, if i had to re-grow another Sarco i would choose Gondwa because the Rivers make traveling a lot easier, however you will have to get out of the water and expose yourself either way. There is no way to play this game and remain safe at all times.
@@KrawllUnchained yeah good point. I already made him on Gondwa cause I have some friends there. I will say it's nice being in a fresh water source when i can eat fish easily. It's nice not having to worry about that as much
Would be nice with a full play through without a bunch of added things inbetween. Doesnt have to be fancy, the regular fotage is nice. I understand cutting tiresome parts, but the greatness of the game is seeing the journey. Just some feedback man. Youre also fun and easy to listen to so thanks for good content.
I think the spino didn't have a tail attack because it was a speed subspecies, so it had a tail paddle instead. That's also why it lost against the rex.
@@KrawllUnchained I don't blame you at all for not noticing, as most spino players always use the defense or standard subspecies and hide with the tail attack, so it's certainly rare to see otherwise. Also, just want to say, this was a great video! You seem like the least toxic POT player ever, which I respect a ton. I'll definitely subscribe and check out your other vids! :D
Man I have been working on my Sarco for 2 days and can't even get it to adolescence b/c everyone in all the servers, kos all the small sarcos. So frustrating lol.
When a carnivore is hungry and they see a small sarco it's hard to pass it up. I'll admit i killed a young Sarco yesterday on my Rex cuz i was getting pretty hungry and the nests in the area were already used up. A young Sarco on land is like the easiest prey and the easiest meal and when you don't know when your next meal is gonna be, you just can't pass it up. This isn't KoS, it's just pure survival instinct. On the other hand, i have also killed probably over 15 baby Sarco's in various playthroughs simply because, for some unknown reason, they just charge out of the water and bite me for no reason. When that happens, i turn around and kill them. Maybe they think they can get away with biting me and running away but i don't give them the chance to run away because they shouldn't attack what they can't kill lol. Just teaching them a lesson is all 😇

Yea the moniter lizards are overpowered... I got into a fight wit one as a full grown t rex amd the damn thing killed me.. those lizards should not b able to kill a full grown rex... that's jus ridiculous

Yesus that is so cruel! I mean you have to farm minimum 6 hours to reach adulhood, you die once and boom. The grind starts again I mean 0-0 This is just depressing a lil bit Anyway than you for your answer, and i enyojed your video (~‾▿‾)~
I don't think he went to land to get stam, i think he went to get rid of the bleed that i kept putting on him. Me on the other hand, i was very low on stam because his venom was draining my stam. If i tried to run away on land, i would've been even easier to catch and kill. My best bet was to stay in the water and fight him, my mistake was to get out of the water at the end. I should have stayed in the water and continued to fight him the same way i had the whole time. If i'm without stam, the best place to be for a croc is in the water. Lesson learned :-)
well, i don't agree with the asshole thing though. This game is a PvP survival sandbox so you have to expect that you will be hunted and killed. If you're a baby, you have to take advantage of your small size to be stealthy, hide in bushes, keep your ears opened and when you hear things, just go hide right away. And just be aware that any body of water can potentially have sarcos in them. The most common lakes to have Sarco's are the big one in the middle of the map, Riverland, the Cascades and any of the lakes at Spined Lizard Lagoon but any of them could potentially have Sarco's so, if you carelessly walk close to water without acknowledging the potential danger, and without being prepared to run away at the slightest ripples in the water, you are to blame when you end up as croc chow. That being said if you were new to the game then just tell yourself everyone has gone through this more than once and those who haven't gone through it yet will go through it eventually. All i'm saying here is, you can't call them assholes, this is all part of the game and is intended to happen.

It did suck though because I was playing for about 2 hours but I was running for awhile and completely out of stamina when he got me. Didn't even ambush me. @@condorgaming4000 It is true that, as a baby, a lot of times being spotted by a predator pretty much means "too late". Babies have a lot of stamina but they don't run very fast because of their small legs so that extra stam doesn't really help escape from bigger dinos. The only thing babies have going for them is their small size , they don't really make any noise and they fit in every and all bushes lol.
I don't really understand your question. If you're talking about the progress bar, it restarts when i reach a new growth stage and then disappears completely once i reach adult. Not sure if this is what you're asking about though.
That's probably the one you need to charge up before biting? Yeah, i didn't have that one equipped, i couldn't use it at all and to be honest i'm not a big fan of it. Two days ago i was on my Alio and i fought against 3 full grown crocs and two of them had that Charge Bite plus Ripping Jaws and those two never touched me and everytime they used a bite that gave me a window to get in and get a few bites on them. The third croc had a regular bite and he managed to get some hits on me. If i was on my Croc and i fought a copy of myself controling my Alio, i know i would kill my Alio with my Croc but only because he's not using the charge bite. If i use the charge bite then my Alio wins.
I'm assuming you mean Ano lol. I'll be honest i'm afraid of playing Ano because all i see everywhere are Ano's which are so bored that they attack everything they see and since i'm not a KOS player then i won't attack anyone which means i probably won't ever fight, which will make the video boring. At least this is what i'm worried about, doesn't mean i'm right hehe 🙂
i have some laggy fights and some that aren't so bad . It really depends on the day for me but i know i've read somewhere they they're working on that .
In Season 2 i will replay all the dinos again but with a completely different build, so for the Sarco i will probably use the charge bite as part of my new build. :-)
Yes this is official servers. I have never played on community servers. However i will be playing the Deinosuchus soon so exceptionally for that one video i will have to play on community servers.
just a note to you about your (very) short clips... it sure isn't pleasant to watch when you make clips made in the time range from 10 seconds to 2-3 very short clips! I don't even want to know how many clips you used in your first hour of video... be aware of that!

I'm on PC, thanks for the offer but i'm doing this series where i play all the dinos in the game from Juvi to Adult, solo ! So far i've really been enjoying the solo experience. I might eventually switch things up but i would like to finish season one growing everything solo.
@@Dutchsweetshid The ability to charge a bite is something you need to equip and i chose not to use that bite for this guy. I was using the regular bite which can't be charged and Ripping bite which causes bleed and i was using the lunge which i can't remember what it's called. I preferred the non charge bite because if i miss, i can just bite again right away. If you miss a bite with the charge one, then you have to charge another and i didn't wanna deal with that.
For me the only annoying thing i find about them is that my tail swings passes over them and all they always try to do is bite your heels so hitting them is pretty hard.

The game could for sure improve on a lot of things but it's still early access so improvements will come and for the community, this game is full of very nice people. Yes there are trolls and overly aggressive players but i honestly don't know of a single online game that doesn't have those. But yeah, anyways, to each his own, i personally am enjoying it.🙂

I respect your opinion but here's my opinion. As a baby myself i don't expect to be spared nor do i want to be spared. If i get spotted and killed it's my fault for not being careful enough. When i played my Sarco, i could spend 30 minutes or more, just waiting in the water for something to pass by so i could hunt, let me tell you, after waiting for so long, you just take what you can get which means, anything that comes close to the water is fair game. Of course my prey of choice wouldn't be a baby but if that's all that shows up, then so be it. I would also like to add that if you watch all of my videos, you will see me spare way more babies than the opposite, you will also see me save babies from predators when i'm playing herbivores. Another argument would be, this is a PvP survival game that tries to simulate the life of dinosaurs. This literally means, survival of the fittest. Lastly, believing that being a baby should be enough to save you is a wrong mindset to have. Sure you're cute and adorable and this will play in your favor when you come across soft hearted people but a large amount of people are completely indifferent to "cute and adorable" so it won't save you against everyone and this simple factor should make you want to avoid being spotted at all costs, unless you're willing to risk being attacked and killed.
I take note of all feedback i receive and take all of it into consideration as well, however in this case, i have loads of people telling me they like the vids, lots of comments about people who love the thought bubbles. Some people commenting about how they cracked up on some of the jokes i add using those thoughts bubbles. I'll have to go with the majority and keep them, sorry ! I hope you'll still watch the videos but if not, i understand !

You're stamina recovery rate is crazy. I just did the Sarco, and that stamina pool would have been a breath of fresh air. 😮

When you play Iggy as much as I do and I am pretty much always in or around water with Iggy I learned to fight Sarcos 😂 I was Sarco chow alot in my growing phase just cause I used water to escape anything big on land trying to eat me lol

However, i have also killed some Sarcos because for some reason, 3 times i was attacked by Sarcos which were way too young to be a threat to me. I don't understand why they did it because it was practically suicide.

if i can give u one tipp, if u see someone comming in the water or swimming away from u, like the lizzard, load youre bite more often, it really helps, bc one, one, there are scared and swimm away, or two, u hit them and do alot more damage. for me it works.
I couldn't load my bite on this guy because i never equipped the ability to do it !

There is no good reason for not adding it considering everything else has a tail attack and crocs and gators in real life use their tails to fend off humans who try to catch them from behind.
Totally agree! In real life Nile Crocs are able to defend themself from Lions using their powerful tails... No reason for not having tail attack
As someone who loves stealth i want to try out the sarco would you recommend it to a newer player?
Well, if you want my honest opinion, i wouldn't play Sarco as my very first dino in this game.
I absolutely loved him and i will continue to play him and i'm loving the stealth aspect of it but there is more to consider.
He is very slow on land and the older he gets, the less stamina he has and the less stam regen he gets so, this all makes traveling from one location to another a real pain.
He is stealthy in the water when you're ready to ambush something but the rest of the time, he's pretty vulnerable on land.
I 100% recommend that you try him out eventually and i'm sure you'll enjoy him alot when you do but if you have never played this game before, i would start with something else, just to help you learn the map and learn game mechanics first.
I would recommend the Megalania for a new player, over the Sarco.
The Meg is low to the ground and pretty silent so it's a good dino for stealth gameplay and it's just as good on land as it is in the water, plus it's pretty hard to hit by bigger dinos. I've seen Megs take down an adult Bars and i've heard people say they were killed by Megalania's while playing an adult Rex.
Plus the Meg doesn't have the same limitations with stam as the sarco does on land.
Basically, the Sarco is a specialist and the Meg is good at everything just maybe not quite as good as the Sarco in the water.
For a new player, the Meg would be more enjoyable as a first experience.

No Sarco is a bit harder to play get some game exp and go with a Ceratosaurus or something similar first. Has alot of speed to get you out of trouble and is also a pretty good hunter that can toy with most things a good way to learn the game.
I feel like there's an easier way to do quests with my sarco. He's still a juvi but the questing is really making me go far inland to collect stuff, leaving me too exposed. Is there specific quests you prefer to do, or specific spots to do quests at a juvi level?
The sarco is not an easy one to play and i would not recommend it to beginners but after having grown one myself and having played in both Panjura and Gondwa, if i had to re-grow another Sarco i would choose Gondwa because the Rivers make traveling a lot easier, however you will have to get out of the water and expose yourself either way.
There is no way to play this game and remain safe at all times.
@@KrawllUnchained yeah good point. I already made him on Gondwa cause I have some friends there. I will say it's nice being in a fresh water source when i can eat fish easily. It's nice not having to worry about that as much
Would be nice with a full play through without a bunch of added things inbetween. Doesnt have to be fancy, the regular fotage is nice. I understand cutting tiresome parts, but the greatness of the game is seeing the journey. Just some feedback man. Youre also fun and easy to listen to so thanks for good content.
I think the spino didn't have a tail attack because it was a speed subspecies, so it had a tail paddle instead. That's also why it lost against the rex.

@@KrawllUnchained I don't blame you at all for not noticing, as most spino players always use the defense or standard subspecies and hide with the tail attack, so it's certainly rare to see otherwise. Also, just want to say, this was a great video! You seem like the least toxic POT player ever, which I respect a ton. I'll definitely subscribe and check out your other vids! :D

Man I have been working on my Sarco for 2 days and can't even get it to adolescence b/c everyone in all the servers, kos all the small sarcos. So frustrating lol.
When a carnivore is hungry and they see a small sarco it's hard to pass it up.
I'll admit i killed a young Sarco yesterday on my Rex cuz i was getting pretty hungry and the nests in the area were already used up. A young Sarco on land is like the easiest prey and the easiest meal and when you don't know when your next meal is gonna be, you just can't pass it up.
This isn't KoS, it's just pure survival instinct.
On the other hand, i have also killed probably over 15 baby Sarco's in various playthroughs simply because, for some unknown reason, they just charge out of the water and bite me for no reason.
When that happens, i turn around and kill them.
Maybe they think they can get away with biting me and running away but i don't give them the chance to run away because they shouldn't attack what they can't kill lol.
Just teaching them a lesson is all 😇

Yes, you will lose about the equivalent of 7 quests worth of growth
so you will need to complete 7 quests to get adult back.

You should have ran away while you still could when the mega went to the land to get Stam 😭
I don't think he went to land to get stam, i think he went to get rid of the bleed that i kept putting on him.
Me on the other hand, i was very low on stam because his venom was draining my stam.
If i tried to run away on land, i would've been even easier to catch and kill.
My best bet was to stay in the water and fight him, my mistake was to get out of the water at the end.
I should have stayed in the water and continued to fight him the same way i had the whole time.
If i'm without stam, the best place to be for a croc is in the water.
Lesson learned :-)
My first death in the game came from one of these asshole crocodiles 😭 I'm just a baby rex and I was out of Stamina so I was helpless
well, i don't agree with the asshole thing though.
This game is a PvP survival sandbox so you have to expect that you will be hunted and killed.
If you're a baby, you have to take advantage of your small size to be stealthy, hide in bushes, keep your ears opened and when you hear things, just go hide right away. And just be aware that any body of water can potentially have sarcos in them.
The most common lakes to have Sarco's are the big one in the middle of the map, Riverland, the Cascades and any of the lakes at Spined Lizard Lagoon but any of them could potentially have Sarco's so, if you carelessly walk close to water without acknowledging the potential danger, and without being prepared to run away at the slightest ripples in the water, you are to blame when you end up as croc chow. That being said if you were new to the game then just tell yourself everyone has gone through this more than once and those who haven't gone through it yet will go through it eventually.
All i'm saying here is, you can't call them assholes, this is all part of the game and is intended to happen.

It did suck though because I was playing for about 2 hours but I was running for awhile and completely out of stamina when he got me. Didn't even ambush me. I saw him coming but couldn't move fast enough
@@condorgaming4000 It is true that, as a baby, a lot of times being spotted by a predator pretty much means "too late".
Babies have a lot of stamina but they don't run very fast because of their small legs so that extra stam doesn't really help escape from bigger dinos.
The only thing babies have going for them is their small size , they don't really make any noise and they fit in every and all bushes lol.

If you're talking about the progress bar, it restarts when i reach a new growth stage and then disappears completely once i reach adult.

Yeah, i didn't have that one equipped, i couldn't use it at all and to be honest i'm not a big fan of it.
Two days ago i was on my Alio and i fought against 3 full grown crocs and two of them had that Charge Bite plus Ripping Jaws and those two never touched me and everytime they used a bite that gave me a window to get in and get a few bites on them. The third croc had a regular bite and he managed to get some hits on me.
If i was on my Croc and i fought a copy of myself controling my Alio, i know i would kill my Alio with my Croc but only because he's not using the charge bite. If i use the charge bite then my Alio wins.

I'll be honest i'm afraid of playing Ano because all i see everywhere are Ano's which are so bored that they attack everything they see and since i'm not a KOS player then i won't attack anyone which means i probably won't ever fight, which will make the video boring.

Pot would be a good game if it didn't lag and rubberband constantly during fights. Rarely do I find a non laggy fight.
i have some laggy fights and some that aren't so bad . It really depends on the day for me but i know i've read somewhere they they're working on that .
If you used charge bite against mega you’d win or anything else
In Season 2 i will replay all the dinos again but with a completely different build, so for the Sarco i will probably use the charge bite as part of my new build. :-)

@@Dutchsweetshid The ability to charge a bite is something you need to equip and i chose not to use that bite for this guy.
I was using the regular bite which can't be charged and Ripping bite which causes bleed and i was using the lunge which i can't remember what it's called.
I preferred the non charge bite because if i miss, i can just bite again right away.
If you miss a bite with the charge one, then you have to charge another and i didn't wanna deal with that.
Who thinks Megas are annoying
For me the only annoying thing i find about them is that my tail swings passes over them and all they always try to do is bite your heels so hitting them is pretty hard.

I respect your opinion but here's my opinion.
As a baby myself i don't expect to be spared nor do i want to be spared. If i get spotted and killed it's my fault for not being careful enough.
When i played my Sarco, i could spend 30 minutes or more, just waiting in the water for something to pass by so i could hunt, let me tell you, after waiting for so long, you just take what you can get which means, anything that comes close to the water is fair game. Of course my prey of choice wouldn't be a baby but if that's all that shows up, then so be it.
I would also like to add that if you watch all of my videos, you will see me spare way more babies than the opposite, you will also see me save babies from predators when i'm playing herbivores.
Another argument would be, this is a PvP survival game that tries to simulate the life of dinosaurs.
This literally means, survival of the fittest.
Lastly, believing that being a baby should be enough to save you is a wrong mindset to have.
Sure you're cute and adorable and this will play in your favor when you come across soft hearted people but a large amount of people are completely indifferent to "cute and adorable" so it won't save you against everyone and this simple factor should make you want to avoid being spotted at all costs, unless you're willing to risk being attacked and killed.

I take note of all feedback i receive and take all of it into consideration as well, however in this case, i have loads of people telling me they like the vids, lots of comments about people who love the thought bubbles. Some people commenting about how they cracked up on some of the jokes i add using those thoughts bubbles.
