Honestly I think they want the episode recaps to be as light-hearted and drama free as possible. They don't want anyone coming at Jeannie while she's with her new baby and family. It was a misunderstanding in my opinion.
The show didn’t die 💀 it lasted a good 6 years AND won an Emmy after she left. She did add something to the show and the original 5 had a great dynamic. But, the show moved on just fine without her. You should move on too, just saying.
