  • There is a new language learning hack that is becoming popular in the language learning community. The idea is to learn 625 words in your target language. Each set of words is broken up into categories that are supposed to be particularly useful for language learners. In todays video I’m going to teach you the final 17 Welsh words from the section on locations/places. Which includes the Welsh words for Library, Bank, Market, Church, Floor, building and many more.

    Is this all of the 625 words or are you planning on doing more videos?

    I used to have your gaming chair. May I be so bold as to say, you too look powerful, virile and mature, when mounted in it. :) Love your videos by the way, you give very good tips to help us rememeber words and phrases. My mum was Welsh, I've been trying to learn a bit. Thank you.

    The English subtitles turned the Welsh greeting into "so my bob" 🤣

    Library is: llyfrgell not llyfyrgell. (Sorry for all these corrections - I'm just passionate about my language!)

      @@LearnWelshPodcast Not a typo! - you verbally spoke the word llyfyrgell too. (Should be llyfrgell.)

      Ear, year and hear sound the same because you’re pronouncing them the right way. 👍😉

    As someone living in North Wales, I find some of his pronunciation questionable.

    • @LearnWelshPodcast
      @LearnWelshPodcast  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not questionable, just a South Wales pronunciation. I try to pronounce each word as neutrally as possible but my South Wales accent always gets in the way. 😉
