The "LIFE BEYOND" trilogy is just 10/10, i hope you give it a chance :)
So if life as we know it can only exist in that tiny slice of the life cycle of the universe, it suggests that we living things are so supremely irrelevant and unimportant that we may as well not exist. Sweet dreams, friends.
Well if nothing matters, does that really matter?
It's better to remember that subjective meaning exists even if objective meaning does not. We're important to each other, and that will simply have to be enough.
That is the point of Carl Sagan's speech The Pale Blue Dot. To the larger universe we humans are meaningless. But to one another we should be precious.

In order to do it, we humans need to become an interstellar species that is at least level 2 on the Kardashev scale.
