This is the video I watch whenever I get a big head, and start thinking I'm special / all that.
Brings me down to earth very quickly.

Please continue your MelodySheep experience with the Life Beyond trilogy. It's absolutely stunning!
Would also recommend all of their content, Sights of Space, Sounds of Space, Timelapse of the Entire Universe, but if you were ever gonna check out just a few of MelodySheep the go-to would be the big 3 that form the trilogy

So if life as we know it can only exist in that tiny slice of the life cycle of the universe, it suggests that we living things are so supremely irrelevant and unimportant that we may as well not exist. Sweet dreams, friends.

Well if nothing matters, does that really matter?

It's better to remember that subjective meaning exists even if objective meaning does not. We're important to each other, and that will simply have to be enough.

That is the point of Carl Sagan's speech The Pale Blue Dot. To the larger universe we humans are meaningless. But to one another we should be precious.

Life as we know it is only possible at the snap of a finger basically and gone.

5:10 There is a way to prevent the death of our Sun. We can extend the lifespan of the Sun well beyond its natural limit. The method is called "Starlifting." In order to do it, we humans need to become an interstellar species that is at least level 2 on the Kardashev scale. Issac Arthur made a video about Starlifting that goes into more detail as to what titanic machines need to be built in order to actually do Starlifting.

This is so interesting! I know that the earth are as a big as a grain of sand in this universe. Mindblowing and so interesting! 🤩

It's actually smaller than that in relation to the universe.

I believe there are an infinite number of universes and each, including our own, are infinite.
