GIANTS - EP 1 - The More We Give The More We Grow

Becaye Keita is a national expert in VoVinam and holds a well-decorated resume which bespeaks itself. One of Mali’s best and well-known martial artists, he’s a black belt with 9 international titles to his name. In 2017, he opened the “Mou-Djou Club” in Bamako to welcome children - in and out of school - complimented by men and women. Becaye emphasizes self defense and empowerment in his training so that women are protected and other have the space to learn how to protect themselves and their family. Since it’s opening, the club has seen seven of its student succeed in opening martial art spaces of their own. “The More We Give, The More We Grow,” is a mentality every leader takes meaning to. Masai has made it clear that the only way we grow together is through the generosity of those who already have. Giving time, granting energy, and expressing love to anyone who can benefit from such positivity. We can never forget where we came from because everything it gave us, we must share and nourish that energy if we want to see the unimaginable become true. Becaye epitomizes what it means to be a Giant as he dreams to one day modernize his center, implementing the latest equipment for children, adolescents and adults. Becaye stays true to his words and actions because he knows this is the only way to manifest his ambitions.
