fact!! The whole video was fire. Rudy was the tech and we all loved that song. JasonLee was the style smooth king. TheGonz was TheGodfather And Guymar quick-snap Bside 180's were something that all skater in this era mastered.. Backside kickflips off plaza handicap bumps were also evolved from this video. We started skating faster & that Parking Garage nose BluntSlide was huge. Nobody could do boseblunts backside. And we only just starting to do backside regular blunts. I hated backside blunts cause it's make or Meat!
It's so awsome how he went from skate prodigy who is as good as the pros to amazing pro to skate legend in his 30's who is still better than most pros.
Amazing ! If he didn't disappear for so long he could've been even greater. Its skaters like Mariano and Penny that helped pave the way to more technical switch tricks in what was probably the best era of skateboarding, the 90's.
I used to watch this everyday before I went skating. This video is what skating is all about. It wasn't all about money in those days. it was about skating.
This part is without a doubt classic. I'd like to add that the Tim & Henry's Pack of Lies GUY footage is also ridiculously good, as he's shedding the "cute kid" identity and moving into his enigmatic '92-'95 phase. He barely put out any footage or photos during this time and still managed to be crazy popular. It's kind of amazing how that happens.
He might not have invented all sorts of crazy, or fundamental tricks like Mullen. But even at 14 he just looked so comfortable, natural, solid, like not timid or hesitant, and on a really fucking big board too.....Guy, And Rudy, were. and still are just as good as Jason and gonz......
Definitely agree with that comment about them being as good esp as j lee When lil Guy Mariano lands and a trick and starts pushing for his next The look in his face is skateboarding right there.. perhaps the gayest thing ive typed on yt
Marco Arce I think of Guy and Colin McKay in the same way, one as a vert skater, the other a street skater. If you've seen McKay's part in Propaganda you know what I mean.
Good old times...back then I watched the Blind vid felt 1.000.000 times and damn I still fucking love it! Thanks a lot for sharing can't find my video tape anymore!:-)
Haha love when he picks the board up at the end and means to explain something.. and it doesn’t get to it 😅🙏 crazy how consistent he was at that young age..
The bside into the bank. Might not be the biggest but it’s still one of the hardest most basic of tricks. How easy does he make it look. Best skate video.
That's where it started really. Curb tricks were huge back in the late 80's early 90's before everything went big. Loved Blind boards, miss those boards, even had the wider trucks back then.
the lines was soo much cooler bakc in the days, they r still cool, but it looks so cool with all those shuvs and flips fast in a row, really nice video!
You sneaky bastards Thrasher, way to give away the winner of KOTR, I purposely avoided the celebration video. Looks like you got me. Anyways, this is such an inspiring part, fluid style, and it makes me wanna skate for the fun of it.
@griffinthecity both are still around.. mariano has had some berrics footage as well as the fully flaired part.. I thought I read an interview about mccrank and an upcoming video but I'm a little hazy
The fact that I still, after all these years, have this part memorized is a testament to how many times we watched it.

guy was born to skate man his style was and is always going to be so sick
i wish i had such a stylish kickturn. Respect for Mariano and the way he reinvented himself multiple times over the years; true pro
Yep, the guys a fucking inspiration.
Blew my mind back then, still does. Just amazing part, truly a classic.
kicked ass when he was little and still does today
3:10
360 into bank like nobody's business.
such swag.
Yep always loved that 360 of his, his board control is insane especially for a 14 year old. His board practically as big as him.
So good
Diario lo veía en mi DVD😁
His board control is insane!
It's so awsome how he went from skate prodigy who is as good as the pros to amazing pro to skate legend in his 30's who is still better than most pros.

This part was the reason I started skating!
If this didn't make you go out and try some tricks like this, then you should give up skating. this is one of the best skate videos iv ever seen.
skating so far beyond his years
The midas touch in skateboarding Guy is a true Living Legend. 🙏
The tune, the trick selection, the vid, stone cold classic. Guy has always had it. 🔥👌🏻
I used to watch this everyday before I went skating. This video is what skating is all about. It wasn't all about money in those days. it was about skating.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS UPLOAD. one of my favorite parts i've ever seen. sooo dope
ONE OF THE BEST TO EVER DO IT! ! !

YESSSSSSS this is definitely in the top 3 of all classic parts
daymn! i dunno what just happend, but i fell in love with this vid. RIPPIN HARD in the 90's!
Still my favourite Mariano part.

He was that small at 14 damn
Marco Arce I think of Guy and Colin McKay in the same way, one as a vert skater, the other a street skater. If you've seen McKay's part in Propaganda you know what I mean.
@@Nominay Mckay part in Propaganda was great. It showed a bunch of him street skating in that video as well.
It's crazy how his skating and the music flow in such sync!
Good old times...back then I watched the Blind vid felt 1.000.000 times and damn I still fucking love it! Thanks a lot for sharing can't find my video tape anymore!:-)
Legendary Guy, his skate lines still better than everyone today
Kid weighs like 83 lbs, tossing that stick around like a maestro.
this part was huge when it dropped
2:52 so cool it looks like a fs bigspin but late shuv
Haha love when he picks the board up at the end and means to explain something.. and it doesn’t get to it 😅🙏 crazy how consistent he was at that young age..
Thanks for the upload!
Little Mariano connected to li'l Jackson in a oldschool Skateboard-Vid,
it's still awesome!!!
i watched his epicly later'd last nite. had no idea he was addicted to crack between the mouse video and his Lakai comeback.
So many memories and such a fun part.
i wasent even born when this came out but i love the old style its my favourite skate video
That 360 shuv lip slide was super sick.
Guy is a living legend, he's been ripping for decades
And now for my next number I like to return to the Cl... to the Cl... to the Classics.
This is why he's doing Sw tre nosegrinds
lines for days
fan on the 180 ollie i see
What a legend and pioneer. (almost) Nobody else was doing blunts and flip-outs, etc. in 1991.
thanks for giving me a year for this film thrasher -_-
this video is tooo amazing for words
oh my god, I have just watched on my tv because I received yesterday from skatewarehouse... great video
The bside into the bank. Might not be the biggest but it’s still one of the hardest most basic of tricks. How easy does he make it look. Best skate video.
Look at the description.. they just gave away who won 2011 KOTR.. Good job Thrasher. Gratz to Lakai.
One of the best to ever do it!
wish all skate vids were like this-all about having a good time.
If anyone is wondering what the beat is at the start it's Classic- DJ premier.
the only skater who can turn around with style
3:11 back 3 was so good!
That's where it started really. Curb tricks were huge back in the late 80's early 90's before everything went big. Loved Blind boards, miss those boards, even had the wider trucks back then.

SkejtaMera the flat, curb tricks were the thing back then. Because of Mullen transitioning to street as well.
I remember when his Mouse video part came out, nobody had seen n e video of him skate in years, it was amazing.
classic skating and a jackson 5 classic, a great combo.
You sneaky bastards Thrasher, way to give away the winner of KOTR, I purposely avoided the celebration video. Looks like you got me. Anyways, this is such an inspiring part, fluid style, and it makes me wanna skate for the fun of it.
VIDEO DAYS.
BEST...VIDEO...EVER.
Daaamnn...still some of the tricks are hard..like the huge manny to board & bigspin to back board on a handrail..WHOA.
Everyone’s part in “Video Days” is classic.
Legendariano.
OMG, he was so tiny back then, I forgot. LOL
wow what a natural born skater this kid has a future in skateboarding
Dudes a Ripper!!That frontside nose bluntside thow!!Skater gramps here..As for me & my family?
We L❤VE Skateboarding!!!
Wdsta1 frm Pedro H.A. 310's
How many spots did they hit when he was wearing jeans and that red shirt with the circle on back? Looks like most of the video #Killer
That big spin at 0:20 was perfection!
they announced the winner of king of the road a couple days ago on the thrasher site
you have to love this song....
Those who down voted are surely younger than guy was in this video, but still unforgivable
0:59 I love that noseblunt, it’s so stylish
Last clip was so stylish!
The whole bLind video is a classic to me, love those nose blunt slides. The first raw street video I saw, pushing 30 years almost.
Boy Mariano?
This part and Ray Barbee’s Ban This part, are the two most influential in my life.
In a nice bit of irony, I see at least one spot featured in both.
Sick I remember doing that secret on the blind what if to get the whole video days( I think its called that) video. But this is still sick to watch
Video Days without The Gons would of been been barely worth watching personally. Still love The Guy! Especially for his age.
Guy was a revert machine
Legendary had a VHS copy, must have watched it 1,000x BVD 91
Here after Kareem hey
i like how he just floats when he spins. so sick
@griffinthecity both are still around.. mariano has had some berrics footage as well as the fully flaired part.. I thought I read an interview about mccrank and an upcoming video but I'm a little hazy
Funny thing is he's wearing a powell shirt in most of this footage
Manny to board thru the kink , still crazy to this day .
Little man looks wild and free on that board.
its amazing the style of skateboarding changed .. damnn
shit all that in like two days...video days will always be my fav
it was fun watching this part
So whens the KOTR full vid?
If i had those skills.....
wait in the the description it says a KOTR 2011 win with lakai? so they pretty much just already announced the winners?
Oh yeah!! best song choice in a while!! Jackson style
Timeless
Is Mariano still active? What about McCrank? It sucks being old and seeing your favorite skaters retire.
@RZAnegative503 i think he means how old was he when this vid was made
how come in all these old skate vids it looks like they cant pop
way ahead of his time
Does anyone know how old was in this video?
So damn good!
This is so cool
