Talking about bringing Steph back, but also showing her as who she is now - you absolutely nailed it. The characterization felt exactly like what I'd expect Steph to be like 5 or so years after Blackhell. Learning more about her backstory really fleshed it out well. I have to say in the original game, I always choose to save Chloe and I never once regretted it - until I saw what it did to Steph. Those memory scenes in Wavelengths really hammered home the weight of the choice in the first game. I'll be replaying it every October 11th in tribute to those lost in the storm.
Loved reliving these memories I had while playing true colors and wavelenghts. Loved seeing how Steph was created. It was also nice seeing the 🦋 🦋 🦋 garden
Another great vlog! It is so interesting to see; I wish it was more common that actors vlogged the behind the scenes (and you've honestly convinced me to do the same sometimes, you're very right about forgetting as time goes on, it's a great idea to film it!) because not only is it cool to see and remember later on, but also a really great way to learn about what goes into it! I love that you talked about the mocap process, there isn't really that much info that I've found about what it's actually like to do it or what the actor should prepare for; I'd been interested to hear your thoughts-- it must have been amazing to get to do it as Steph, though I can imagine nerve wracking, too! You really did do her justice though, like everyone already said; I was so happy for you when it was first revealed Steph would be returning, and then getting her own dlc as well--she really is just exactly how you'd imagine her now all grown up, but also even more complex, and I wish that we'd get to learn even more about her. It must've been a difficult process, knowing all the expectations, and you did such a great job! Also, the fact that Steph finally found somebody perfect for her, too, was so heartwarming. You also spoke so nicely about the team and you're right more people need to know about the people behind the scenes. So agreed that they're the real magicians; we're speaking/performing their words and direction, and after we've done our part, they're the ones putting it all together making it look and sound as amazing as it does; it's such huge work and really should get more attention! It touched me personally that you went out of your way to do that as I have a loved one who's a game developer and from everything I've seen of what they do, it's seriously hard work, thank you for bringing attention to that as well!
Second time I see it and now I do comment, the blue butterfly!!, So cool!!,... while you were watching butterflies Erika was pulled recording the scene of the rope and Gabe falling,... your head is SMALLER that Ethan's Katy!, (Ignacio) really! lol. Thanks for this, so much fun seeing a bit of your process in TC💕.
Yes. Can you help us Game devs out. We work hard but it seems like nobody cares what we think or do. Its more about the people that have alot to say but don't how much work it takes to make a game.
Seeing that little blue butterfly warmed my Life is Strange heart so much!!
Steph's head smaller than Ethan's head CONFIRMED! ;) Thanks for another great vlog! Love all the Mocap stuff!
Somehow never realized that lol

People say long distance relationships but having a crush on a voice actor from the other side of the world is worse 😭 (Happy tears from Spain)
You did great because Steph had top notch facial expressions in the game.
5:21 - A blue butterfly.. 👀👀👀

The Adventures of Katy and her Little Head. lol. This was great! Loved it all but especially the Butterfly Pavilion!

I love watching behind the scenes, great job Katy!
Absolutely beyond awesome.
This is so cool Katy! I'm glad you got to go to the Butterfly Pavilion. It's fun. I haven't been in years though.
What a nice retrospective. Definitely hope this is not the last time we hear from you as Steph, and as, well, you, Katy yourself. Keep it up. ;)
Spider-Katy is my new favorite super hero 😅

You weren't on the set for Before the Storm? How did you do mocap then?
In BtS she only do the Voice!✌🏻.
@@lauz2486 Who did the mocap for her body then?
@@wheelinthroughlifewithbria7570 If I'm not wrong, TC was the first LIS to use Mockup actors, not just voice actors. and now the remastered versions!.
@@lauz2486 ok thank you!
👋👍💜🙏
