    I love the sound of an air cooled bike cooling down!

    It needs the baffles took out of the pipes. Mine sound like that before I took the baffels out of them. Now it sounds a lot better

      On the 650 V-star, the engine gets kinda busy at highway speeds, so they 're going to get loud, no doubt. I'm thinking they'd be better on a larger cruiser that keeps the revs down at higher speeds. That holds true for any loud pipes I guess.

    Very nice looking bike. But I think it’ll look better if the back seat is taken out. My opinion.

      @@daz52 ok cheers mate, looking at the same pipes for the missus's bike, and love the short shots..
      Did you re-jet it at all ?

    • @daz52
      @daz52  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jonnothetrucker No didn't re-jet either. The pipes have been on the bike since day 1 and I haven't had any problems (about 6 years now).

    got a question i have a 2013 vstar 650 thinking about the same exhaust did u have to rejet ur carbs???

    • @daz52
      @daz52  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, I didn't rejet the carbs. Had the bike for three years now and it hasn't skipped a beat to be honest really good bike. I've read different things about whether you should do it or not but as I said I didn't and I haven't had any issues.

      Just keep an eye on your spark plugs. If they are white than you will need to go up to the next size main jet in both carbs. If your plugs are brown to darker then all is ok. The jet in the back cylinder carb is bigger than the jet in the front cylinder carb. Good video and a nice sound.
