there is a nice little mod that you can do on the standard air box,, just drill a bunch of 1" holes in the bottom of it ,, just lets a little more air in and makes a nice low down rumble !!
Every person in the world who has plugged a VAG into an old Audi has the same reaction, OMG Holy Crap! That looked like the readout I used to get on my old All Road. Don’t sweat it if you can’t figure it out, we’ve all been there. All Audis are crazy overcomplicated which is why I never get involved with them anymore, it's always going to end predictably in tears. But you look super happy with the progress on both builds, the new sponsorship and the Boston conference. Congratulations and well done!
Great job Sarah. Be patient with the VCDS, you will "get it" with a bit of practice. Every time you use it, you will become more comfortable. One of the very first things you should do is a complete Auto-scan (don't worry about any faults) and SAVE that scan to your computer and if you can print a copy as well. Do it a couple of times. That way if you ever get lost or you mess up a module accidentally, you will have the coding etc.(its a real big deal). Do not just go clicking around ; the vcds is a very comprehensive and powerful tool and you can do some serious damage if you are not careful. Check out Ross-Tech you tube vids on its use and you will pick-up what I am referring to.
Sarah -n- Tuned NefMoto is great for DIY tuning but yeah it is pretty complicated for a non-IT person but there is lots of info online. i'm hoping to use it to tune my leon big turbo project.

I'm happy for you, I was stationed at Hahn Air Base Germany from 84 to 92, I had a 1979 Renault R17 gordini, I had a 86 Scirocco brand new, 78,,280s,4dr,1971230c,coupes 2dr,Mercedes my favorite all time, I could find parts all day long at the junkyard and for $2 I could grab as much as I want it all day crazy there must have been 50 Mercedes in the lot alone a lot of soldiers going home engine blows who knows, now I got my 91 Miata don't fret the gaskets you're better off buying new rubber trim of the entire TT probably comes as a kit really makes car look different

Great score on the Forge intake pipe. The Forge split r valve that you've got is junk though and I'm saying that as a Forge dealer! (also an APR dealer), you need a Forge FMDV008 really. Starting to come together though

Awesome finds, great video. As a fellow Arizonian and a GTI/1.8L turbo owner, try a K&N panel filter. I have one in my GTI and it works great, especially with a tune, I have tested it MANY times as I use to work in Scottsdale and if you drive normal there you get ran over by a Escalade or Cayman, suvs suck.

@@SarahnTuned humm... i prefer koni yelow with eibach springs... they are damper adjustable and the stance is nice... i have used coilovers in all of my cars and i prefer the simplicity of damper and springs unless yow are doing track days very serious...

You can also get the battery plastic off a mk4 Volkswagen, many of the mk4 and Audi A3+TT are compatible. At least some engine bay parts.

There is a tab at the bottom of the mirror. Slide to one side and the mirror pops off.
