For your data wall, you could definitely put it on the empty space on the brick wall. It could be a pink packground and it would make your boards look very symmetrical like your burlap ones in the back.

I think using the black & white side of the borders would look better in your classroom. The pops of color will come from the things that end up going on the bulletin boards. Your room looks great.

Yes, we did staple it to the wall! It didn't damage the wallpaper or the wall! The Better than Bulletin paper is designed not to get damaged when staples are removed! 😊

I realize this advice is too late, but buying a can of white paint and just painting it with a roller would've been so much easier and probably overall cheaper. Plus the painting would be very uniform.

I used black bordette border with my shiplap paper. Hobby Lobby has a cheaper version that works great..

It’s funny that you said that about math and the lightbulbs. That is exactly the border I chose and I do math intervention.
I love those light bulb borders! Maybe you could try flipping them inwards and see if you like that better.

you should get some pink fake flowers and put them in the middle of the reefs that are on your burlap bulletin boards

I would personally not do more ship lap. I would do a solid color for the areas where you are going to use a border.
