- Cool Science for kids in Lausanne, a program of fun science activities for kids aged between 3 and 11-year-old, brought to you by neuroscientist Maria Macedo PhD, in English or French.
This video shows one of the weekly classes. This class scientific subject was sublimation, the passage of a substance from the solid to the gaseous state without ever becoming a liquid. We used dry ice - solid carbon dioxide - the classic example of sublimation.
Cool Science for kids sparks your kids’ creativity and develops their critical thinking with weekly hands-on classes. With an action-oriented approach, kids are given the opportunity to learn science by doing it. The goal is to stimulate kids’ scientific thinking and to stimulate their curiosity and capacity to observe and interpret what they observe. They acquire new vocabulary, knowledge and working skills in a fun way! Learning and experimenting is so COOL!
