Six security personnel sustained injuries in an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, after an attack on a joint checkpost. Police and security forces are also engaged in an operation to apprehend a terrorist hiding in Seda Sohal village, Kathua district, following an attack near the International Border that left one civilian injured and a terrorist dead.
In Doda, the exchange of fire occurred at a joint checkpost manned by the 4 Rashtriya Rifles and police on the Bhadarwah-Pathankot road late Tuesday night. The injured security personnel were hospitalised, and the gunfight continued as of the latest reports. Reinforcements have been deployed to intensify the operation.

Hindus in 2024 election believed Muslims are also voting for Modiji. for his Sabka Sath and Sabka Vikas as they said outside of polling booths. It was their design so that Hindus don't come out in large numbers and vote for Modi ji unitedly. That's why BJP fell short of clear majority of its own. But for Muslims and Congress, it was a blow to their dream of coming to power as the NDA, lead by Modiji got clear majority.

This is true now, it was true in 1970 when I was a medical student at the Cambridge University in England. I was eating with a colleague at a Pak Punjabi owned Indian restaurant in Cambridge. Sitting at the next table were two Punjabi Pak students. They spent all the time, while eating dinner, maligning Sikhs (in Punjabi) with the vilest and demeaning jokes I ever heard.

Honestly, India has nothing to gain from the relationship. Pakistan wants India to talk on Kashmir. The change in status quo of Kashmir has made every leader in India incapable to talk about the future of a state with a foreign country.
