The 2005 looks so much bolder then the 2015
One thing I always noticed with the original '05 Spinner was that the Eagle part was prone to moving as I had a kids replica (It was the only one as I wanted Undisputed V2 adult that was in stock at the shop I went to at the time), the stones would fall out constantly, then the eagle part moved constantly no matter what.
I bought mines last year july and its soo awesome!
Somewhere around 2007/2008 during Ortons reign the spinner belt on TV seemed to change. Obviously they changed the side plate like on the 2015 replica and it was a darker shade of gold but it seemed to stop spinning and they added a silver tip to the belt too. Always bugged me none of the replicas ever had the tip. Always thought it was a nice addition. The changes made the belt look a lot better. Not sure if the changes had something to do with the change to HD.
How good are the actual belts from the show then, would love to see their quality
V1 is easily superior imo just cuz of the Mon Nite Raw side plate. I’m very picky about that but if I had to choose which to buy it needs to be that version

Interesting to mention that I have the first of the dual wwe champion side plate version, and it’s CHAMP and Eagle are flat with the main plate and the etching isn’t deep either, so the original facelifted ones must’ve been the 05 version with just a new side plate!

Mine is the 2005 replica that I converted to a V2 by switching out the RAW side plate with another WWE champion side plate. Prefer the symmetry and was never a fan of the RAW side plate. Of course mine was releathered by you Paul 😉
This was my first replica. And as I grew older, I grew out of it. Surprised it stayed around for 8 years. And I was glad they stopped it from spinning in the later years. Guys like CM Punk sort of legitimised this title and made it better. Whether belt marks hate it or love it, this spinner belt has plenty of history to it and it went through a lot during it's 8 years in the WWE.
If you still have the Raw side plate I'd like to buy it from you if you're willing to part with it
The gap on the banners are due to scratching of the base plate when you spin the spinner I would assume
Well actually the original Spinner had The right Plate saying smackdown and had a fist so basically its v2 and v3
I was only referring to the replica versions in this video. If talking about the real belt used on TV you'd lose count fast as there was over 20 different spinners used. 3 of them ha the SD side plate so technically the first RAW version was already version 4.
Paul Martin Belts true thing but however i think wwe never sold the spinner with the smackdown plates haven’t seen any spinner with the sd plates tbh

i'm just going to guess with my thinking the reason why those three parts were raised was to prevent damage to the plate underneath the spinner plate and the stones
My belt from 2014 or 2015 looks like the 2005 version, didn't know they upgraded it that much, kind of a bummer, but I still like it.

Is there a way of modifying the 2015 version so the eagle & Champ banner sit flat on the base plate rather than being raised? That's the one thing I hate about the 2015 version.
jeremy weekes It’s probably possible, not sure how practical though. The base of the centre plate would need to be drilled for the Champ and Eagle posts to fit. It would also mean the belt wouldn’t be able to spin as the spinning piece is raised up a little too and would hit the champ and eagle Id suspect.
I know WWE Shop has the 2015 version but I want the 2005 version anybody know where I can get the 05 one from?

weird my spinner belt has the same side plates as 2015 but the main plate of 2005. its like the worth of both belts
Yeah I feel like I got an in-betweener as well. The 2015 belt, but the gold is light like the '05 version, which is kind of frustrating because I believe I got it in '15 or so, and feel like I barely missed the new version. Maybe have 2014 though. Still a nice belt, but I want the darker gold.
