Trogir Croatia - Walking Tour 2021

The Little Venice of Dalmatia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a city-museum, Trogir, is a beautiful coastal medieval town in Croatia. Trogir has a population of just over 10000 and is located just 30 km from Split and 5 km from the Split airport. Trogir has rich cultural heritage and authentic architecture. The history of Trogir goes back to the 3rd century BC. Its culture was influenced by ancient Greeks, the Romans and Venetians. The entire town is a historical monument with a considerable number of churches, fortification towers and palaces.
Attractions not to be missed are:
The Cathedral of St. Lawrence, built in the 13th century.
Bell tower of the church of Sv. Sebastijana & City Loggia, built between 14th and 15th centuries.
Cipiko Palace, a palace in the Venetian style, built in the 13th century.
Kamerlengo fortress, built in 15th century.
And of course the promenade (Riva), where you can admire luxury yachts and enjoy a cappuccino.
