Love love love this long comprehensive workout! I say workout because it feels like one. Getting better everyday. Also, I love singing the vibey chordal changes at the end. Thank you Jeff!
WOW!!! This was amazing! All the extra you threw in was unexpected and challenging in the best way. Thank you Jeff, your content is the best in the business.
Thank you, Jeff! It's great mezzo workout :) I started with your short warm-up video for mezzo then went on to work on this. I am so happy about my vocal workout today! You help me (and all the others) so much!
Jeff!!!!! Thank you very much for your hard work and for such incredible techniques that you share! I really appreciate it and always can't wait to start my day with this warm up! You are a gem!!!!
I had to work out while doing this warm up. That's the only way I could get through it. It's a lot of work on your abs. I need to gain strength in my lower body.
In these strange times, it's cool to practice with you. It's been a while for me, thanx you're still on youtube. :) Do you have more exercices for singing without strain? I just found an old one. Thank you again Mr Rolka for your lessons.
Thank you so much for your support! They are 'posts' on patreon. If you cannot find them, send a message to me via Patreon or email me directly through my website www.jeffrolka.com/connect-2 and we'll get you all sorted out. Thank you again, sorry for the difficulties. Jeff
Indeed, this is a very full featured video! I've talked about this before, but there is no way to increase the actual capacity that your lungs hold. Check this out: th-cam.com/video/hX-c8m3kT8s/w-d-xo.html
1st... you are awesome. I am preparing 6 songs for a karaoke night. Your warm ups made me remember how much i loved singing in school... and how much easier it is to sing after warming up. However like many others i cant lip trill. After researching the act of singing i have learned that lip trill is a sotv (?) Practice and there are many others. So my question is... can i do other practices like blowing into a straw inserted in a cup of water while doing the warm up instead... is that accomplishing the same or similar results as trilling? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Thanks for your kind words! You can certainly do some straw phonation instead of a lip trill, but it may still leave you with the same airflow issues. I spoke about this at length in a recent Q&A, here you go: th-cam.com/video/EjEkbXAbzDk/w-d-xo.html
I think I’m going to make this my daily practice as it is enjoyable and thorough. I’m a high soprano but like to work through my entire range so would you suggest I alternate days between this and soprano? Thank you again Jeff. I am definitely signing up as a Patreon fan.
Absolutely. There are more than a few reasons to switch it up from day to day, and if the combination of this video along with your regular soprano practices covers more of your range, than by all means, keep it in rotation, but keep rotating! Thanks for watching and thank you for considering supporting the channel on Patreon! Jeff
Dislikes from people that couldn't ascend pass the Secondo Passagio, I appreciate this content Mr. Maestro...
Jeff the MVP coach on youtube. Nothing touches your tutorials and warmups.

As a mezzo, it's so hard to find where I belong in a choir. Were do u suggest that we go to the alto to the Sparano
It depends entirely on your voice and how you fit. Generally, however, the sopranos.
Thank u !thank u ! thank u ;) u make my Sunday’s shine
Thank you!
I can't thank you enough! This is fantastic.

Wow what a BEAST of a video! Thank you, Sir! 🙏🏽
I was wondering if you know of any lung expanding exercises that increase breath capacity?
Indeed, this is a very full featured video! I've talked about this before, but there is no way to increase the actual capacity that your lungs hold.

Question: Do you think 5-minute-or-less warm ups are effective? If so, do you have any?
It really depends. There are several on the channel. Here's one:

@@JeffRolka Thank you again. Are you still working on a guide to all your TH-cam videos?
