This was genuinely useful! I am so interested in taking a graduate program at Chicago next spring! I wonder if a single suite resembles the same square footage and with a on suite bathroom, its probably very expensive tho 🥴
I attend UIC at the moment and there’s two different options for singles: regular & semi-suite. The semi-suite option connects you to the room right next to yours since you would share a bathroom with them and the regular is a bit smaller and you have to use community bathrooms. We also have apartment style dorms available and they range from studios to 4 bedrooms. Every dorm has ac included so thats a huge plus. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have!

How good is the college ? How safe it is for students? If parents want to attend the graduation day, is there any accomodation available in campus for 10 days
i love his monitor setup! Do you know if the monitor came that way to be able to turn it 180 or did he get an attachment?
Most monitors support a vesa monitor mount. They're usually pretty cheap and can be clipped on the side or from of your desk. Another big plus is it creates more room on the desk.

I received an offer to study at UIC but I'm only worried about the safety. I am hearing a lot about crimes😢
UIC is in a pretty safe place! It's close to the city but still has a sheltered feel. You should be fine.
