I tried them let grow roots in a glass of water. After 2 weeks it was full of roots. A beautiful good plant it is!

What's the average daily summer temperature in your area? I 've been tempted by this plant for some time, but the summer heat here in west central Florida kills off many of the more popular garden plants and I'd just hate to see that.
It's a lot cooler than Florida, I think the avarage summertemp in the Netherlands is about 21C
