I saw many comments here comparing Marcelito and Dimash. They are good in different ways. Why we don't just appreciate their talents and be thankful for hearing them sing during our lifetime?

He undoubtedly is talented. However falsetto is not really natural. And he would benefit from vocal coaching. Untrained people wreck their vocal cords. For sure I wish him all the best.

Nah. Not even. I’m sure if Marcelito sang a song in Russian or Kazakhstanian, he wouldn’t annunciate the words properly. I can listen to Dimash sing and not understand a word, it doesn’t take away from the beauty of his angelic voice. Seriously, watch him sing “SOS”. U will understand.
Agree. However, training is not enough to do what Dimash does, otherwise it'd be full of people like him, as others have more years of training than Dimash's age. Not to mention the physical limitations of each person. Dimash is more than a singer, he's a well-rounded artist. Too bad Marcelito didn't get proper training (for all I know). He's great.

I’m a Dear ( Dimash fandom ). Dimash and Marcelito both sang this song very well in their own way. Dimash is a beast. Marcelito is a soft angel. Also they have different style- Dimash is neoclassical style, Marcelito/Celine is pop music. Why people would prefer Marcelito? Because he sounds more similar to Celine Dion’s voice.
Both of them are amazing. Dimash have extremely wide and developed vocal range. Marcelito have unique vocal range that allows him to sing as both a tenor and a soprano.
This I see as a problem, I am a serious musician of 55 years and Marcelito should not win because he's Filipino, this is not sports, this is not a cheer for the home team, don't you get that, this is artistry, it should be dealt with on that level, not sports.

Marcelito did it with ease because he can feel the song. Dimash is more like flexing his vocal range. Pomoy is singing as well as story telling, while Dimash is just a machine hitting notes perfectly. Id rather listen to a human than a robot

Because marcelito uses head voice which is way easier than what Dimash uses (mixed voice) and basicaly all range. Marcelito just 1 tone all song while Dimash goes from bottom to top
