    Great job explaining the entire process, clearly and logically.
    Kudos

    One thing I would add, Check the crank arm bolt after a ride or two to make sure it's still snug. I have had some square taper bb crank bolts come loose after several rides.
    Good clear instructional video.

    That's for showing us how to install the actual bearings.

    I have a Sun EZ-1 recumbent. Is the tool you pointed to on Amazon the correct too for my bike?

    I like his voice and how he speaks. He could've also be a motivational speaker lol just like the other Mike's voice (Mike The Situation).

    How to solve the trekking sound problem on the cranck?

    • @RunBikeMike

      That might come down to the style of crank you have. Most of the time it is a torque issue. I would recommend double checking that it is set to the correct torque settings. If that doesn’t fix it you might have to take it apart clean and re-grease it. Also a possible bearing change out.

      I'm having this problem too, it's so tight I'm at almost thread stripping levels of pressure being applied, do I keep going, I don't want to write off my girlfriends bike 🙃

      @@lauriewilliamson645 when you thread the crank puller, thread it by hand till resistance and start cranking and it gets really hard to do until it pops it off. it gets harder because its pushing the square off a taper

  • @TheWolfBunker
    @TheWolfBunker 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    So the tool literally just tightens on the thread and then pushes the crank off?… clearly a bit essential as i havent been able to get past this point

    • @RunBikeMike
      @RunBikeMike  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes that is what it does.
