What's your process in making music like this? Is this primarily a modular composition or one put together in the DAW? Very cool sounds though, pressure building and psychic damage.
@@boma7963 Thank you so much for checking it out 🙏🏻 For songs like this I like to do sound designing, taking field recordings and running them through filters and then shaping it in logic iOS on my iPad. I started on my iPhone in GarageBand then went to Logic when I got an iPad. I use my guitar with filters as well. As for the bass and kicks I use parallel compression. Doubling up with an 8:0:1 ratio on both then having one with a quick attack/long release and one with a long attack/quick release. The sounds are in my head and I try to recreate it as best as I can. With tons of synths and sounds in logic plus purchasing apps for a lot less than real equipment it helps. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on real equipment so the DAW is my best friend. I also just started using AUM for the longer one bc I can make a sketch of the song there then transfer it over to logic. Hope that helps a bit. No ever asked me about my process. Sorry if I just rambled.
