I saw a good theory about how they're referencing technology. Like "you can shame" "put me down, and I'll still be there for you" No matter how much people bash and criticize technology it's still there and people will always use it no matter what. First heard this song on Black Mirror. Fell inlove with it but never looked it up. At the time...my life was going pretty much...well...if i say so myself. 3 to 4 months later, so much has changed and so much loneliness. I didn't know who the artist was, but the quality and sound of it almost sounds like a modern song. I can imagine it being played in a cafe on a rainy day in London for some reason. It's beautiful.
