Amazing. No bias or agenda. Just a journalist asking good questions and allowing the person to answer. Trump gave well thought out answers and Russert didn't roll his eyes or attack him. Excellent piece.

Tim Russert was a great journalist and was the best moderator of Meet The Press. Tim and Tom Brokaw were the best NBC News journalists.

This was during the big three anchor era (1980’s to mid 2000’s) with Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, and Peter Jennings anchoring the evening news for CBS, NBC, and ABC. They were the three you could trust. Now we have journalists who just report liberal agenda bias for the three networks and most other news outlets

Are you kidding? The guy was obviously bringing up only negative talking points. He literally baited Trump through the whole interview.
Don't let the stupid smile on the guy's face fool you. Mainstream media has been propaganda and corrupt since the mid 50s. The CIA's Project Mockingbird.

I am an independent, and I didn't like Trump very much before. until I saw a few videos when he was in his 30s and 40s a billionaire, already, no a politician , complaining about how much money the country was losing, how others countries took advantage of our country and how the politicians didn't care about it.
I understood, the man was a patriot. To the size of George Washington. To the best of my knowledge, no billionaire in this country made that kind of video, no Musk, Besos, Gate, or any other. Usually billionaire only care about theirs money. It's a shame what they're doing with Trump now.

He was definitely my favorite journalist. Seems like he went a little easier on Trump than most interviews. I read somewhere that before an interview, Tim would learn everything about the person, learn their position on issues, and then take the exact opposite stance in order to get a rise out of them. He was a great journalist! Gone too soon!

Wow, what a cordial and mutually respectful interaction. It was so refreshing to see an honest exchange without fear having to be politically correct. I wish we can go back to this kind of open dialogue in the near future. Nowadays everything is twisted by the opposite to gain brownie points and really stifles honest dialogue. We need to get back to civil and open dialogue.

The former president has privately blamed anti-abortion hard-liners for the party’s lackluster 2022 midterm results and has largely steered clear of the issue on the campaign trail. He has said he believes the federal government should play a role in restricting abortion but has not specified what kind of federal legislation he would push for or support if he were to be reelected next year.

@@mandygraham3027 I Said he we would have liked his policies It's not always about "Party Politics" if that's how you vote its because you're too lazy to listen without judgement, listen to see what you agree with and weigh your options before casting your vote! Trump was the First Republican for President I had ever Voted for and its because I actually have met him and at one time, much like Ronald Reagan, was a Democrat for a long time! The Democratic Party of today is not the same as it was in the 90s, and the more I went to listen to these candidates speak, the less I agreed with. Democrat's were the Party of the catholic church. When they went pro choice and up to birth, I couldn't support that having had an abortion at 17 for other medical reasons, I could never have a child. The conservative Democrat's no longer exists and Trump had Common Sense Policies that I could agree with! He GAVE his time to our Country, do you see any other politicians giving away their salary? It's about Policies not Party. Judge on the individual after they speak about what they want to accomplish during their term if you give them your vote. Stop watching the short clip news, unless you want to live by someone else's opinions by persuasion. I realized what the church and the Democrat's have in common and that was the need to control every single one of us....
