Thanks Nick for sharing ...I’ve NEVER had much success with those novelty type necklace ferro rods. I’m sure I just didn’t have the patience to deal with a one inch ferro rod. LOL. So here’s my best coyote story. I lived in this town called Elk Grove Village. A suburb of Chicago. Lots of woods and old farms that got converted to homes and warehouses. Luckily where I lived, there was a small pond and about 80 acres of hardwoods. So one morning before work I went to the local Dunkin Donuts to get coffee like 4 minutes away from home and coming back and single file, I seen Pa coyote along with 3 pups and Ma coyote bringing up the rear. Can’t tell you enough how that made my morning. Thanks again Nick for sharing and look forward to you getting some coyotes on film. ATB Mike
Mike Favia Outdoors that is so awesome! They are such beautiful animals. So strong, so fast and can literally disappear right in front of you. They are like ninja’s. I always say, you never see a coyote or wolf, they reveal themselves to you. Thanks for sharing!
It's a Bucksaw bud, practically everyone has got one nowadays, a bit of fancy wood carving/shaping doesn't make it cut any better than a standard one, it's just a wood saw and why do people get excited about Feather sticks ???
Neanderthal Outdoors it’s the design itself, it packs away easier and sets up easier. I don’t make feather sticks to get people excited. I make them because I need to start a fire after everything is frozen in a layer of ice.
Great video on the ORIGINAL Saw!
