I used to shoot recurve bow and in our shooting range youll see quite a variety, recurve, compund and barebow. theres this one guy who practice kyudo and man he stands out among the rest, so much elegance and grace i would always stop shooting for a few minutes to watch him. Its always fascinating even tho we shoot longer distances in recurve, I've always thought kyudo takes a lot of skill focus and patience. This anime reminds me of that guy, we wouldve been friends if i wasnt an introvert...

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much from this anime. Like how do you convey the difference of a poor shot to a good shot despite the form and other factors, especially to someone like me that has no experience shooting. But honestly it was so well done, the imagery, the scripting, the tone, the animation, everything just came together to give us this beautiful masterpiece

I've been to matches where my teammates and I get into the flow just like this, and it is one of the best feelings ever. You're there, and you see your teammates in front of you hitting one after the other, and you just get the feeling of "I know I can hit". You see the target right there and even before releasing you feel the arrow hitting. Then you release, you hear the tsurune, see the arrow flying towards the target, spinning. And then the sound of the arrow hitting. Actual euphoria to me.

If you're looking for a somewhat similar anime, try Chihayafuru. the 20 anime by the adventurer guy are good no question, but are very different from tsurune

theres 5 main protagonists but the series mainly focuses on Minato and Masaki. its confusing at first but yea.. when you watch the ending epilogue it makes perfect sense
