We just took the kids down to Southerndown this afternoon which was very busy. Dunraven afterwards which wasn’t too bad. Looks like we chose the wrong beach today, it looked lovely there. ☹️ Those beans though 😳😳😳
This was filmed last week and not on the weekend so that's why it was probably quieter. Saying that, when the tides out it's a massive beach. Can't be having lukewarm beans!
Not allowed in fish'n chippies these days (groan!) But couldn't go near one without remembering Philip Madoc's classic: 'I don't like soggy chips. I like zem crisp undt light braun'. Remember Dad's Army.
The times I used to have there when I was young we’re fabulous I lived in scarlet avenue right on the seafront ray de Francos dad had a chip shop just where the new one is never get them days back

I'm gong to go back to do the walk along the beach to the River Neath. It's amazing what you can capture with just the phone camera.

funny, we call them "fish n chips", but not fish n fries, but if we have a burger, we don't say burger n chips. ?
The classic Chips or Fries conundrum!
When we do use the term fries they are the usually long thin type of chip.
