Creating Fire Straws (2020)

Really basic but the point was given.
In mine, I use Vaseline cotton ball, one of those you can't blow out birthday candles, and a little 91% alcohol.
Alcohol was to get things started easily, the candle so rain and wind would not extinguish it, and the Vaseline cotton ball for increased burn time.
If you have a lighter things get going very easy.
If not, a little cut in the straw and the rod will light the alcohol very easily.
I was thinking about using one of those waterproof matches in one.

Just a cotton ball without Vaseline? Petroleum jelly added will extend the burn time and that’s the reason for making fire straws.
