I learned to "word process" on a Commodore 64 back in '85 I think it was, but I think the Atari of the time was considered the hottest PC for music apps. You've shown it's talent and creativity though, and not hardware that counts! Great stuff. Thanks for sharing- nice video too.

Thanks a lot for your work. I'm proud of my ctx 5000 and was shocked these days looking at a big european web shop of instruments, seeing the low price of the 1000v and the 10€difference to the 500...😲Can you make a guess of this big loss in less then 12months? Greetings from Germany, happy x mas👍

im looking for a keyboard that's portable and also offers quite a nice range of voices. my original choices was the pss f-30 and casio sa-46.
but i think ill go with their newer variations. yamaha a-50 or casio s51. yamaha offers quite a lot of functionality but has waay fewer voices than f-30
so now im choosing between casio s-51 and yamaha f-30... s-51 is way more portable. but im worried that 2 and half octave may not be enough.
even for casual on the go play., should i go with the s-51?

Hard to say, as they are both competent and compact keyboards. The Casio S-50/ 51 is newer and has some features that the F-30 doesn't, but it's also a little more expensive, and the F-30 has more Tones and Rhythms. However, from what I've heard, Casio have revamped/ improved the quality of some of the Tones in the S-50, so it's not just a revamped SA-46. The SA-50/ 51 also has built in reverb that the F-30 doesn't have. Regarding the 2.5 octave keyboard, the SA-50/ 51 has an octave shift up and down that increases the range available. Ideally, see if you can try both of them in a music store if possible. If not, watch some of the good TH-cam reviews to get a good idea of which model might suit your needs.
