  • Basics of Ventilator (Mechanical Ventilation) Modes and Settings Made Easy (AC, SIMV, PCV, CMV, VC)
In this video on ventilator machine modes and settings, i have explained in detail the different modes of ventilation including SIMV, AC, CMV, Spotaneous, VC, PCV. This video is for all the doctors and nurses working in ICU who struggle to understand the very basic mechanics of mechanical ventilation. I have explained in details different graphs of ventilator. At the end i have provided comparison of CMV vs AC vs SIMV mode for the sake of simplicity. I have also explained how to wean a patient off from vent. How to liberate a patient from ventilator.
